Waarvan akte.
K.D.
You must be more attentive and careful when reading posts. The volume distribution (in time) is NOT constant - it's a function of time.... The matter is that till ~13.00 the average partial volume/hour was < 1 M/h (my old message you referred was posted at 12.44 - you may check it) After ~13.00 the volume started to rise essentially .... (for instance, it's already almost ~2 M after 16.00 till 16.35) That is we have a good "volume trend" - it rises up with rising prices, and it’s also important - the volume rises at the end of the day (when institutionals are active)

Bijna 18 miljoen stuks verhandeld in 8,5 uur. Ach SNSN, help jij me even uitrekenen wat het gemiddeld volume per uur is....

Try to understand that " < 1M/h before ~13.00 " means that " less than 1 M was traded each hour (on average) between 09.00 and 13.00 " - that’s it - there is NOTHING to discuss here - it is a trivial fact (from the data-base) You can easy check it through the partial volume distribution with 1-hour resolution.... (hope you understand what it is - the volume accumulated within each hour presented as a function of time)

ja, schiet even uit mijn slof.

I see, you simply do not understand what "volume distribution in time" means .... The "volume distribution in time" is actually the volume traded per unit of time (per sec., min., hour, day, etc). Using distribution functions you can calculate all its "moments" (mean, variance, etc.) If speaking very roughly, the "mean" is an "average value" which depends also upon the time-interval chosen for "averaging" (from the total distribution function).... That is why any "average" value depends upon the time-horizon used to calculate that average.... So, the "average value" may be very different on diff time-intervals, if volume distribution (in time) is NOT constant (like it almost always is). That is what you saw today - the volume traded per 1-hour started to rise after ~13.00 That is why the "average" volume calculated within the first time interval 09.00- 13.00 was much lower than the "avwerage" volume calculated within the full day. I hope you understood it now. Do you want a reference to learn something about that?
With rising volume positively correlated with prices (a good sign) we were following our rising-sub-trend started yesterday at ~10.30 (see old posts), strongly accelerating in both price & volume since ~15.00 (a good sign as well) . The prob is high that the active small/mid-size profs (almost “empty” now) should start a new accumulation cycle (see last week posts) on their usual scale of ~300 M speculative shares (after recent “consolidation” at around ~2.70-2.72). Don’t forget also that to impose recent (fake) sub-trend “break” providing our recent bottom ( March 4 ), up to ~20 M shares (inc. still not closed shorts) were sold with losses. Given that the active trading profs usually count on ~(14-18)% return from the “lowest accumulation” level (it is currently ~2.55), the prob to move towards our next target ~3.0 (and even hit it after a short pause at ~2.82-2.84) increased. Our next resistance zone is ~2.655-2.675
