    Europese beurzen openen hoger

    (ABM FN-Dow Jones) De Europese beurzen gaan dinsdag een hogere opening tegemoet.

    IG voorziet een openingswinst van 108 punten voor de Duitse DAX, een plus van 43 punten voor de Franse CAC 40 en een stijging van 32 punten voor de Britse FTSE 100.

    De aandelenmarkten in Europa zijn maandag overwegend hoger geëindigd.

    Beleggers reageerden optimistisch over een nieuwe ronde vredesgesprekken tussen Oekraïne en Rusland die mogelijk spoedig in Turkije zullen starten.

    "De angst voor een schok in de economische groei door de Oekraïne-oorlog lijkt slechts van korte duur", aldus investment manager Simon Wiersma van ING. "Gesteund door meevallende macro-economische cijfers, verschuift de aandacht van beleggers naar angst voor inflatie. Die vertaalt zich in hogere rentes."

    Die beweging omhoog "is het gevolg van hawkish geluiden vanuit de Fed, die afgelopen week op een agressievere renteverhogingscyclus hintte", aldus beleggingsadviseur Justin Blekemolen van Lynx. "Hierdoor zijn financiële waarden in trek."

    De Duitse tienjaarsrente noteerde maandag op 0,58 procent.

    Volgens analisten van Deutsche Bank kijken beleggers deze week uit naar het Amerikaanse banenrapport op vrijdag, naast cijfers over de Europese consumentenprijzen. De markt verwacht volgens Deutsche Bank dat er afgelopen maand 450.000 nieuwe banen zijn bijgekomen in de VS, waarbij het werkloosheidspercentage afneemt van 3,8 naar 3,7 procent.

    Deze koersbewegingen zijn leuk, maar ik denk niet dat Poetin zich zomaar uit Oekraïne laat jagen. Die corridor tussen Krim en Donbass is hem denk ik best veel waard. Dat kan dus wel even duren, maar het leuke van die strategie is ook dat Rusland helemaal niet zoveel tijd meer heeft. Hij zou zich ermee in de eigen voet schieten.

    BAM has announced that it has secured a place on Crown Commercial Service’s £21bn Construction Works and associated Services2 framework (CWAS2)

    The CWAS2 framework has been developed for government projects and is expected to be utilised by central government departments and all other UK public sector bodies. The framework covers the UK and Northern Ireland for both civil and construction works.

    CCS supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services.

    BAM has been appointed to both Lots, for construction and civil works over four years.

    Lot 4 of the CWAS2 framework has an estimated value of £1bn to be allocated between six contractors. Lot 5, the General construction National Lot £80m+, has an estimated value of £20bn which will be allocated across 20 firms for both construction and civil schemes.

    BAM Construct UK, in conjunction with BAM Nuttall and BAM Contractors (Ireland) came together to submit a single tender.
    ‘Delivering net zero carbon and innovative ways of working’

    John Wilkinson, chief operating officer, BAM UK and Ireland, commented: “BAM’s success is based on our being able to demonstrate all the capabilities that the government’s Playbook requires: a whole life value approach to assets, delivered faster and greener, adding value to the communities around us and driving innovation.

    “Combining these two attributes enables us to have a leadership role in digitalisation, delivering net zero carbon and innovative ways of working such as through repeatable designs.”

    Additionally, BAM has been at the forefront of creating the platform approach being developed presently by the Construction Industry Hub, and is one of only four European built environment firms to be given a prestigious A-rating for climate change by the CDP.

    The new agreement adopts the principles of the Construction Playbook, rationalising frameworks in partnership between Crown Commercial Service (CCS), NHS England and NHS Improvement.

    NHS England and NHS Improvement leads the NHS in England sets its strategic direction through the NHS Long Term Plan, and funds key priorities for improvement.

    ProCure23 is the fourth generation of the ProCure route to market for the provision of design and construction services to NHS capital projects, with an estimated cumulative value of £9bn over its four-year lifespan.
