    Watchdog: More missiles delivered from Belarus to Russia.

    A Russian IL-76 aircraft arrived on Nov. 13 at the Machulishchy airfield in Belarus and later flew to the Millerovo airfield in Russia, the Belarusian Hajun, a group that monitors the movement of Russian weapons, said.

    Before the arrival of the plane, five trailers carrying 20 missiles in the direction of the Machulishchy airfield were noticed, the watchdog wrote.

    Russian sources say that the battle in Russian-occupied Luhansk has severely intensified today. Kreminna is directly attacked from the forest, artillery strikes on Svatove and a push from Makiivka. Together with the fighting in Kuzemivka yesterday this might be something bigger.

    The Netherlands to allocate € 20 million to Ukraine through the NATO trust fund

    The Netherlands continues to support the Ukrainian military and will strengthen it as winter approaches.

    The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country, Wopke Hoekstra, announced the allocation of another € 20 million to help the Ukrainian army through the NATO trust fund.

    This was discussed at a joint press conference between Wopke Hoekstra and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

    The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands has certified military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine, including the application of sanctions.

    Poland says to take over Gazprom's Polish assets

    WARSAW, Nov 14 (Reuters) - Poland will take over Gazprom's (GAZP.MM) Polish assets, a minister said on Monday, adding the move concerned the Russian company's 48% stake in Europolgaz, which owns the Polish section of the Yamal gas pipeline.

    The compulsory administration will ensure security of the critical infrastructure used for gas transit, Polish Development Minister Waldemar Buda, said in an emailed statement.

    In September, Poland imposed sanctions on Gazprom and said its assets would be frozen after in April sanctioning 50 Russian oligarchs and companies, including Gazprom, in a move to increase pressure on Moscow over its invasion of Ukraine.

    Russia at the same time halted gas exports to Poland after Warsaw refused to pay in roubles.

    "We are doing all we can to counteract Russia's aggression and eliminate Russian capital and influence, expropriation is not possible under (the) Polish constitution hence we decided to put in place compulsory management," Buda said.

    While Europolgaz owns the 684-kilometer long Polish section of the Yamal, the pipeline is operated by Polish state-owned gas transmission company Gaz-System.

    After Gazprom was sanctioned, the pipeline operator did not have a partner for making key decisions on the infrastructure.

    The 92nd Mechanized Brigade is one of the best and, for the Russians, most dangerous formations in the Ukrainian army. So you can’t blame the gaggle of under-trained, under-equipped and badly led Russian draftees for surrendering the first chance they got when the 92nd and other Ukrainian brigades attacked them near Svatove in eastern Ukraine’s Donbas region on Nov. 7.

    The surrender could be a sign of things to come as Ukraine’s eastern counteroffensive barrels into its third month, and the Russian army shoves more unready draftees to the front in a desperate—and so far failing—bid to slow the Ukrainians.

    It doesn’t appear the deepening winter is going to help the Russians, either.

    A video that circulated online on Sunday depicts at least 21 middle-age Russian draftees—presumably some of the roughly 300,000 men the Kremlin forced into military service starting in September—after they surrendered on the previous Monday. “The command is giving up,” one draftee says, his hands bound. Their officers “threw them out to the slaughter.”

    The draftee describes dire conditions for the Russian regiments—reportedly including the 346th Motorized Rifle Regiment—occupying Svatove, a town with a prewar population of 16,000 that abuts the P66 highway, which itself threads through the forest and fields to Severodonetsk, one of the bigger cities in Donbas.

    The Ukrainians held Severodonetsk until July. Liberating the city is a top priority in Kyiv. Approaching the city from the north means going past Svatove. It’s not for no reason the Ukrainian eastern command has assigned the 92nd Mechanized Brigade to that sector. If any formation can get the job done, it’s the 92nd.

    The 92nd Mechanized Brigade, originally billeted just south of Kharkiv, is one of the best-trained and best-equipped units in Ukraine’s active army. The brigade boasts two T-64 tank battalions and three battalions of infantry in new BTR-4 wheeled fighting vehicles plus attached artillery, engineers, air defenders and support troops. Each battalion fields around 40 armored vehicles and 400 troops.

    The Russian occupation regime in Luhansk Oblast is planning to evacuate all civilians from the towns of Kreminna, Sievierodonetsk and Rubizhne.

    Mobilised of the 2nd Commandant Company of 362nd Motorised Rifle Regiment from Lipetsk were abandoned by the command on the frontline at Svatove. This call with one of the survivors describes how from the regiment, 2500 have already perished.

    The mobilised who managed to get out of the frontline are accused of being deserters and threatened with 10-year imprisonment.

    The call is with a relative of the soldier whose identity is anonymous for safety reasons.

    Russian tennis star Andrey Rublev spoke out against his country’s invasion of Ukraine on Monday after his win against compatriot Daniil Medvedev at the ATP Finals in Turin, Italy.

    Rublev, who is ranked seventh in the world, completed a comeback against Medvedev. After the match, he signed the camera lens with the words: "Peace Peace Peace All We Need."

    In his interview after the match, Rublev said the gesture wasn't planned.

    He added:

    “I think it’s important, especially in our time, like I was saying many times, to have a peace. We have internet. We have easy life. We can fly, travel, do sports, take care of the family. No one wants to suffer or struggle. I think it was already many, many years ago. I don’t think that we need to. Many countries are suffering, and that’s it."

    This is not the first time that Rublev has spoken out against Russia’s invasion.

    In February, shortly after the conflict began, he wrote, “No war please” on a camera after a win at an ATP tournament in Dubai.

    The ATP Finals is the season-ending event for the premier men’s tennis tour in the world. It is competed in by the eight highest-ranked singles players and eight highest-ranked doubles pairs in the world. The event concludes Sunday.

    Moskou moet herstel in Oekraïne betalen, zegt meerderheid in VN

    De Algemene Vergadering van de Verenigde Naties heeft een resolutie goedgekeurd die de basis legt voor herstelbetalingen van Rusland aan Oekraïne. 94 landen stemden voor de resolutie, waarmee de nodige tweederdemeerderheid gehaald werd.

    De resolutie zegt dat Rusland "ter verantwoording geroepen moet worden voor alle schendingen van het internationaal recht in of tegen Oekraïne". Rusland "moet de juridische gevolgen dragen van zijn internationaal onrechtmatige daden, inclusief het vergoeden van de schade die veroorzaakt werd door dergelijke daden", klinkt het.

    Naast Rusland stemden 13 landen tegen, waaronder China, Iran en Cuba, 73 landen onthielden zich.

    De tekst roept ook op tot de creatie van een "internationaal register" dat de door Rusland veroorzaakte schade documenteert.
