    trump is voorspelbaar als je weet hoe hij denkt. De onvoorspelbaarheid komt voort uit de onvoorstelbaarheid van zijn akties.

    (ik leef niet in de waan dat ik hem kan voorspellen, en ik geloof ook niet dat ik dat wil, want dan zou ik hem moeten begrijpen en ik ben er niet zeker van dat het bereiken van dat punt geen onherstelbare schade aan mijn geestelijke capaciteiten toebrengt en gezien de fragiele staat van de gelimiteerde capaciteiten die ik nog bezit, kan ik me niet veroorloven dat op het spel te zetten)

    Trump jaagt economie bewust over de kling

    Ronald Reagan schreef begin jaren 80 het draaiboek voor hoe je als president je herverkiezing veilig moet stellen.

    Direct de rommel van je voorganger opruimen. Harde maatregelen nemen die op korte termijn pijn doen maar waarvan je na 2 tot 3 jaar de vruchten plukt.

    Begin jaren 80 deed Reagan (met hulp van Fed-baas Volcker) precies dat. Met als gevolg een pijnlijke recessie in zijn eerste twee jaren.

    Vanaf 1983 begon de economie echter weer op een gezonde manier te groeien en in 1984 werd hij met hulp van onderstaande slogan met groot gemak herkozen.

    Trump waarschuwde voor bubbel...
    Toen Trump president werd, was ik er absoluut van overtuigd dat hij hetzelfde draaiboek zou volgen als Reagan.

    Vooral omdat hij in het jaar voor zijn verkiezing meerdere malen had aangegeven dat de economie en beurs "one big, fat, ugly bubble" waren én omdat hij Yellen ervan beschuldigde de rente te laag te houden.

    Allemaal terechte uitspraken die aangeven dat hij precies wist hoe de vork in de steel zat.

    ...totdat hij zelf president was
    Nadat Trump president werd, veranderde zijn mening echter met 180 graden. In plaats van direct de juiste, maar op korte termijn pijnlijke maatregelen te nemen, trapte hij het gaspedaal vol in.

    Blies hij de bubbel waar hij zélf voor had gewaarschuwd nog veel verder op.

    Buiten dat dit aangeeft hoe onbetrouwbaar Trump is, is het ook duidelijk dat hij er alles aan zal doen om die bubbel nu niet te laten barsten.

    Stimuleren zonder oog voor de gevolgen
    Want als dat tussen nu en november 2020 gebeurt, dan kost hem dat zijn herverkiezing. Sterker nog, hij zal dan de geschiedenis ingaan als één van de slechtste presidenten ooit.

    Trump zal er dus alles aan doen om de economie zo maximaal mogelijk te stimuleren. Van de Fed onder druk zetten tot meer belastingverlagingen tot mega-investeringen in de Amerikaanse infrastructuur.

    Welke gevolgen dat voor onder meer de staatsschuld heeft, vindt hij niet belangrijk. Dat hij daarmee inflatie aanwakkert, zal hem een zorg zijn.

    Goudprijs naar hoogste niveau sinds juli
    Dit alles is zéér positief voor de goudprijs, die deze week naar haar hoogste koers sinds medio juli steeg.

    Alles duidt erop dat beleggers nu eindelijk inzien wat Trump aan het doen is en dat ze zich nu écht zorgen beginnen te maken.

    De kans is dan ook levensgroot dat goud en zilver de komende tijd fors verder in prijs stijgen.

    Special Counsel Mueller released his heavily redacted 13-page sentencing memo for Michael Flynn on Tuesday night, he did NOT redact one key piece of information. The memo clearly states that the Trump transition team was heavily involved in Flynn’s illegal dealings with Russia.

    Earlier this year Mueller obtained all of the transition team’s emails, and that’s when the speculation started that both Pence and Jared Kushner — another transition team member — were in deep trouble.

    the new vice president went on national television and declared to the world that Michael Flynn was clean as a whistle, and innocent of all charges.

    before Pence did this, Congressman Elijah Cummings had notified Pence in writing that Flynn had committed perjury and lied about his contacts with foreign governments, especially Turkey.

    Michael Flynn committed numerous crimes, and Mike Pence did everything possible to cover up those crimes, possibly because he was implicated in them also. In fact, Pence could face the same criminal charges that Mueller brought against Flynn.

    Het lijkt er op dat deze mevrouw denkt dat de Amerikanen op D-day de Duitsers hebben bevrijd.......
