    Noorse rederijen staan bekend om hun uitstekende veiligheidsmaatregelen en geruchten zijn natuurlijk snel geboren. Niets aan de hand, zou je dus zeggen. De Cidade de Sao Mateus vaart echter onder Panamese vlag wat de kans op tekortkomingen wel wat hoger maakt.

    graag even jullie mening / idee

    De meeste Petrobras FPSO projecten zijn in het verleden gestart onder Nederlands recht / Petrobras heeft hiervoor separate BV's, destijds gevestigd in Hoofddorp opgericht.

    Met de 240 Mio schikking met het OM is mijnsinziens alles nu wel geregeld, immers de projecten waren "Nederlands"

    Enige wat Petrobras nog kan doen is SBM op de blacklist plaatsen en/of "tijdelijk" uitsluiten van tenders, waarbij dit laatste al plaatsvindt.
    Daarbij opgemerkt dat er ook geen substanciele projecten zijn...(makkelijk uitsluiten..)

    Daarnaast lijkt het erop dat de hele industrie aan de omkoop praktijken heeft meegedaan, dus wil men in Brazilie / Petrobras verder kan men niet anders dan alleen de betrokken personen te vervolgen en bedrijven (die men hard nodig heeft) buitenschot te laten.

    De openheid en medewerking van SBM in dit geheel kan nog wel eens een zeer goede / beste strategie zijn, immers SBM zal een van de eerste zijn die "schoon" wordt bevonden.

    Een bedrijf dat al eerder (najaar 2014) opdook in de media als mogelijk betrokkene bij onregelmatige handelspraktijken met Petrobras is het Braziliaanse toeleveringsbedrijf Schahin Petroleo & Gas.
    Dit bedrijf is partner van Modec in de door hen in december gewonnen Petrobras tender voor Tartaruga Verde en Mestica fields.
    Een tender gerealiseerd na de inwerkingtreding van de nieuwe Anticorruptiewet (29 jan 2014) dus..

    @kc: Lopende contracten worden in principe uitgevoerd, normaal niet geraakt, wanneer continuïteitsredenen overwegen. Maar omdat Galvao betrokken is doet Petrobras moeilijk over contractaanpassingen die Galvao vraagt. Hierna een artikel over de discussie van Valor (vandaag verschenen). Over de houding van QGI worde tegenstrijdige uitspraken gedaan, gaande van het schorsen van werken door onderaannemers tot het melden aan Petrobras dat men het contract als verbroken beschouwt.

    The QGI Brazil consortium, formed by Queiroz Galvão and Iesa Óleo e Gás and owner of the yard Honorio Bicalho, in Rio Grande (RS), suspended the construction and integration of the modules of the P-75 and P-77.     @ Kopermans, leek me idd al ongebruikelijk het werk niet op te leveren; dat maakt nieuwe projecten niet bepaald gemakkelijker.

    uiteraard zijn er minimaal twee versies/ inzichten van het verhaal. Verdacht van omkoping of niet, het blijkt dit moment niet eenvoudig onderhandelemn met Petrobras. Petrobras zelf moet op haar beurt uitkijken dat de gewenste volumegroei niet gerealiseerd wordt...

    hoe moeizamer Petrobras nu tot projectaanpassingen komt, hoe eerder er ook weer kansen lijken voor SBM

    De olieprijs doet nog weinig positiefs op de rig-counts, ik hoop dat de 50 dollar houdt

    Julio de Oliveira werkt voor TCU dat veronderstelt wordt samen te werken met CGU in bestrijding corruptie. De man voelt zich waarschijnlijk gepasseerd.
    Het zou alleen gaan om de bedrijven betrokken bij Lava Jato, maar er kriebelt wel weer wat bij mij..

    Hoi Chela,

    tja, om dat onderbuikgevoel te vermijden, had ik bovenstaand in de off-topics gezet.

    Al heb ik even getwijfeld. Als de Braziliaanse aanklager 23 bedrijven een leniency agreement wil ontzeggen zolang er nog onderzoeken lopen in corruptie-onderzoeken rond Petrobras, en je weet dat SBM Offshore nog recent toegegeven heeft dat er Braziliaanse onderzoeken lopen - plus dat men volledig meewerkt en rekent op een leniency agreement ...

    dan neemt het onderbuikgevoel nog wel eens een voorsprong op het feitelijke ontbreken van bedrijfsnamen in het bewuste Reuters-artikel.

    Zo lang er geen direkte link wordt gelegd -door Reuters of door een andere gerenommeerde bron- leek het me beter om het bericht op het off-topic draadje te plaatsen. En de ontwikkelingen even af te wachten.
