    h-77 fluctuatie's zullen er altijd zijn in de koers, of het nu van iex'ers komt of niet. Ik volg OPL op 5 verschillende fora en daar heb je, zoals op ieder forum, day-short-mid & long term traders/investors die de koers beïnvloeden. Maar de meeste die ik ken hebben een long term view voor OPL, omdat dit bedrijf bijna klaar is met hun jaren durende onderzoek en ontwikkeling van het POET Platform en eens dit klaar is in 2012 kunnen we toch een serieuze koersstijging verwachten. Welke route OPL gaat kiezen is niet duidelijk, ik bedoel, gaan ze het POET platform verkopen op basis van 't Pellegrino valuation report dat POET een conservatieve schatting heeft gegeven van $1.3 miljard, of gaat OPL kiezen voor Licenses & Royalties route... Mijn voorkeur gaat uit naar die laatste, maar om het even welke route ze nemen zal het voor de aandeelhouders flink cashen worden! IMO

    Ik denk van wel, voor de volgende redenen;
    TCA, degene die OPL een Revolving Line of Credit heeft gegeven werkt alleen met bedrijven waarvan ze zeker zijn dat het geleende geld terug betaald kan worden op korte termijn. Dit doen ze uiteraard door de boeken te bestuderen, maar ook door te kijken naar de orders die in een korte tijd geboekt kunnen worden. Aangezien TCA een deal is aangegaan, na uitvoerig onderzoek, kun je daar als common shareholder toch conclusies uit trekken zonder de informatie te zien die TCA heeft gezien.

    - De inkomsten van OPL zijn van $1.7 in 2010 naar $5.9 mil in 2011 gegaan en de verwachting is toch dat ze dit in 2012 gaan overtreffen.

    - In de maand juli zijn er 10.5 mil warrants op .50 die OPL met cash voorzien.

    - OPL heeft net $750k gekregen van de NASA

    Ik begrijp dat je die vragen stelt, en als je puur kijkt naar de cijfers zijn jou vragen gerechtvaardigd, maar je moet begrijpen dat een start-up/developing stage company nu éénmaal geen sterke cijfers kan voorleggen. Gelukkig heeft OPL tien jaar lang steun gekregen van The Department of Defense e. a. en daarom heeft OPL weinig schulden en heeft het ook verwatering van de aandelen kunnen voorkomen, wat toch uitzonderlijk is om een bedrijf te vinden die zover gezet is en toch maar een OS heeft van 93 miljoen. (Fully Diluted 119 mil)

    Ik begrijp dat start ups niet direct wereldcijfers laten zien,
    vraag is alleen of dit wel de tijd is om in dat soort bedrijven te beleggen.
    Begrijp mij niet verkeerd, wat ik aan info van je lees klinkt goed/positief,
    maar je merkt dat juist bedrijven die de sprong naar winst (nog)
    niet hebben gemaakt de laatste tijd flinke draaien om hun oren
    krijgen.
    Hoop uiteraard dat dat hier niet het geval zal zijn, maar daarom
    de vragen :)

    Het economisch klimaat van de laatste 4 jaar is zekerniet gunstig geweest voor start-ups, niettemin het was voor niemand gunstig, wel dan, misschien voor de shorters, lol

    Totdusver heeft OPL deze storm doorstaan en denk ik dat ze financieel gedekt zijn voor 2012. Tegen het einde van dit jaar, kan ook volgende week zijn, zal OPL hoogstwaarschijnlijk één of meerdere grote contracten hebben met BAE Systems (de 2de grootste militaire contractor in de wereld). Maar zelfs als die contracten pas voor 2013 zouden zijn dan nog kun je flink cashen als OPL de laatste milestones bekend maakt van hun POET Platform. Meer bepaald The Interconnection of High Speed Circuits. Uiteraard is het POET platform zo veelzijdig dat er andere toepassing uit zullen voortvloeien, zoals IR detection (BAE), of Optical arrays (NASA) etc. Dus investeren in OPL doe je voor het enorme potentieel die ze hebben. Maar hoedanook, het blijft altijd riskant om te beleggen en 100% zekerheden kan ik je niet geven. Mijn vertrouwen is groot in OPL, maar dit is geen garantie en mag ook niet geïnterpreteerd worden als beleggingsadvies, want iedereen moet dat voor zichzelf uitmaken op basis van ieders eigen onderzoek! Dit wilde ik toch even gezegd hebben, want ik kan verantwoordelijk nemen als er toch iets fundamenteels fout zou gaan. Tot no toe ziet alles er veelbelovend uit maar helaas kan ik niet in de toekomst kijken, dus beleg op eigen risico! GLTA
