    First Patient Dosed in Chemotherapy-Free Triple Combination Phase II Trial Targeting Soft Tissue Sarcoma

    Immutep (ASX:IMM; NASDAQ:IMMP) announced that the first patient has been dosed in the Chemotherapy-free Combination Phase II Trial Targeting Sarcoma, a disease in which malignant (cancer) cells form in the soft tissues of the body. In response, Immutep CSO, Frédéric Triebe stated, “New information arising from this innovative trial may further broaden the future clinical development of efti and, in the end, bring even greater benefit to patients.”

    Ik heb hier al een aantal keer verkondigd dat de TACTI-003 data mogelijk spoedig zal worden gepresenteerd. Nu valt mij op dat er vandaag een update is gepost op clinicaltrials.gov, waarbij de primary completion date is aangepast van 2023-07 naar 2023-12-31. Opvallend, maar wellicht dat dit automatisch gebeurt na het verstrijken van een datum. De datum is immers ook aangepast qua format (van 2023-07 naar 2023-12-31).

    Verder is men weer actief persberichten aan het publiceren, vandaag weer een inzake positief advies van CHMP met de boodschap dat additionele toxologische onderzoeken niet nodig zijn voor toekomstige markttoetreding. Zie: www.immutep.com/detail/immutep-receiv...

    Heb nog niet veel tijd gehad om het door te nemen, maar het eerste wat me opvalt is het volgende:
    "Looking ahead, we will provide key data updates from the Phase II TACTI-002 and Phase I INSIGHT-003 trials in 1st line NSCLC at the ESMO Congress 2023 in October. In addition, we expect to report top-line results from our ongoing TACTI-003 Phase IIb trial in 1st line HNSCC later this calendar year. We also anticipate reporting first safety data from the open-label lead-in of up to 12 patients in our ongoing AIPAC-003 Phase II/III trial in MBC."

    TACTI-003 wordt dus toch pas later gepubliceerd. De reden hiervoor is denk ik dat ze vertraging hebben opgelopen met de recruitment:
    "Recruitment into the trial continued throughout the financial year and is nearing completion, with ~91% of the planned 154 patients enrolled as at the end of June 2023. Immutep expects to complete enrolment by the end of Q3 CY2023, positioning the Company to report top-line results in H2 CY2023 and the primary read-out in early CY2024. "

    Een erg uitgebreid rapport van Goetzpartners. Nu is dit wel een company sponsored verhaal dus ws. niet overal even objectief (zie ook de target price die een factor 10 boven het huidige niveau ligt!). Maar het geeft i.i.g. een mooi overzicht van de lopende studies etc.

    Het is hier erg rustig de afgelopen weken. En dat terwijl er veel nieuws voor de deur staat!

    Na vandaag zijn er nog 6 handelsdagen over voordat de TACTI-002 final O/S data wordt gepresenteerd tijdens ESMO 2023 op zaterdag 21 oktober. De resultaten kunnen dus ieder moment worden gepubliceerd. Dat geldt volgens mij ook voor de resultaten van INSIGHT-003, waarvoor ook een presentatie gepland staat tijdens ESMO.

    Eén van de laatste conferenties waar de CEO heeft gepresenteerd is hier te vinden: wsw.com/webcast/cantor19/immp/2100483. Aan zijn toon hoor je wel dat hij zelf ook uitkijkt naar de resultaten. :-)
