    Fission Discovers New Zone With 465m Step-out; More Off-Scale in Multiple Holes
    New R1620E zone increases PLS on-trend strike length to 2.24km
    KELOWNA, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - March 31, 2014) - FISSION URANIUM CORP. (TSX VENTURE:FCU)(OTCQX:FCUUF)(FRANKFURT:2FU) ("Fission" or "the Company") is pleased to announce results from six new holes at its PLS property in Saskatchewan's Athabasca Basin. All six holes intersected considerable mineralization. Of particular note and importance is hole PLS14-196 on line 1620E. The hole intersected total composite mineralization of 30.5m on line 1620E, approximately 465m east of PLS14-190. Its location marks a new mineralized zone (R1620E) and increases the PLS discovery's on-trend strike length from 1.78km to 2.24km. Hole PLS14-196 is still in progress.

    Further step out success: Of additional significance is the location and mineralization of two other step out holes. PLS14-189 (line 1080E) is a 75m grid east step-out from PLS14-185 (1005E) and shows multiple, well-developed zones similar to other holes to the west of it. Also significant, PLS14-190 (line 1155E) located approximately 15m grid south of PLS13-103 is locally well mineralized. This increase in strength and width of mineralization to the south on the R1155E zone suggests that further step-outs to the south may be prospective.

    Drilling Highlights include:

    New zone and further expansion of existing zones

    -- Zone R1620E identified 465m east of zone R1155E
    -- PLS on-trend strike length increased from 1.78km to 2.24km
    -- Zone 1155E expanding with stronger mineralization to the south

    Hole PLS14-189 (line 1080E)
    -- 82.5m total composite mineralization (between 221.0m - 469.0m)
    including:
    -- 4.2m total composite off-scale (greater than 9999 cps) radioactivity

    Hole PLS14-192 (line 630E)
    -- 99.0m total composite mineralization (between 94.0m - 220.0m) including:
    -- 1.1m total composite off-scale (greater than 9999 cps) radioactivity

    Last year consumers around the world demanded record levels of gold. China led the way, becoming the world's biggest gold consumer.

    Meanwhile the gold price dropped, as did the value of many major and junior mining companies. Struggling Western ETF markets dragged down the yellow metal's overall performance, and total gold demand in 2013 dropped 15% compared with the previous year.

    But according to Rick Rule, Chairman of Sprott Global Resource Investments, this apparent dichotomy between the two markets has begun to reconcile itself.

    What we're seeing today are the "classic signs of a bear market bottom," Rule told MINING.com in an interview.

    "Bear markets are authors of bull markets and we've been through a really severe bear market," – the "consequence" of which is a "roaring bull market."

    Commodities markets are notoriously cyclical and volatile, and last year was certainly a low point.

    "You survived the pain, why not hang around for the gain," said Rule.

    But that likely won't start for 18 to 24 months. In the meantime, a few things might happen.

    According to Rule, junior miners need to stop trying to survive and instead focus on raising money to advance projects.

    "Forget about the perception dilution," Rule said.

    A healthier market will emerge when we see issuer capitulation: Rather than "canniabalizing" what capital they have left, junior miners should look for financing and start answering questions about their projects.

    For that reason Rule sees GoldCorp's recent hostile takeover bid of Osisko as a "very positive sign for the industry."

    But the sector suffers other ailments as well. According to Rule, the metals junior market is "seriously overlisted."

    There are too many companies with non-viable projects fighting for capital. When capital markets are dry, a lot of these companies hunker down, try to survive, and end up wasting what little money they do have on administrative expenses.

    When asked if the industry had learned anything from recent struggles, Rule said it doesn't look like it.

    "The belt tightening that people have talked about seems to be more rhetorical than actual," he said.

    A couple years ago, Rule and his team pulled a statistical sample of 75 TSX-V-listed companies at random. To his "horror," as he describes it, they found that the average general and administrative expenditures among these miners "handily exceeded 50% of capital raised.

    Het is alweer een dik half jaar geleden dat we het uranium rapport als bonus naar onze TopAandelen-abonnees stuurden. Daarom hebben we afgelopen week even alle informatie in ons rapport bijgewerkt.

    Sinds we dit rapport een dik half jaar geleden voor het eerst uitstuurden, zijn de volgende zaken veranderd:

    Het wereldwijde aantal kerncentrales is met 2 gestegen naar 434
    Het aantal nieuwe centrales in aanbouw is met 4 gestegen naar 72
    Het aantal nieuwe centrales in de planningsfase is met 11 gestegen naar 173
    Het is sinds vorige week officieel dat Japan haar kerncentrales weer gaat opstarten
    Stijgende vraag + dalend aanbod = enorme prijsstijging
    Vier duidelijke tekenen dat de vraag naar uranium de komende jaren fors zal stijgen. Daarnaast zagen we ook onderstaande berichten, die duidelijk maken dat het aanbod van uranium steeds krapper wordt.

    Diverse bedrijven hebben besloten om hun uraniummijnen te sluiten.
    Het Amerikaans-Russische Megatons-to-Megawatts programma is ten einde
    Conclusie: De bull-case voor uranium is het afgelopen jaar op alle fronten alleen maar sterker geworden!

    Koersstijgingen van ruim 3000 procent. Ondanks...
    Tussen 2000 en 2007 zagen we koersen van uraniumaandelen met meer dan 3000% stijgen. Dat is een feit waar we niet omheen kunnen.

    De grafiek laat zien hoe sterk de uraniumprijs tot 2007 steeg. De prijsstijging werd echter gedrukt omdat ieder jaar 15% extra aanbod op de markt kwam door het Megatons-to-Megawatts programma (uranium uit Russische kernwapens).

    Denkt u zich eens in hoe hard de koersen zonder dat jaarlijkse extra aanbod zouden zijn gestegen!

    15% van het jaarlijkse aanbod ineens weggevallen!
    Die 15% extra aanbod van uranium is sinds 1 januari weggevallen. Kunt u zich voorstellen waarom de kenners een bull markt voorspellen die veel heviger gaat zijn dan de vorige?

    Er is ALLE REDEN om koersstijgingen te verwachten die fors hoger zijn dan de ruim 3000% die tijdens de vorige bull markt werden gerealiseerd!

    Wij zullen geen grote kernramp meer meemaken, maar hoe dan ook is kernenergie de ENIGE werkende manier om het broeikas-effect tegen te gaan.

    Verder vrees ik het ergste voor je andere 'beleggingen', gezien je gebrek aan rekenkundige kennis en je grote voorliefde voor hypes.

Of exceptional note is hole PLS14-187, located on line 660E. With intermittent mineralization starting at the shallow depth of just 58.50m, and continuous mineralization from 63.0m, the hole returned a continuous 102.5m interval of 5.98% U3O8 - the widest high-grade interval to date at PLS. A lower interval of substantial mineralization followed, yielding 1.63% U3O8 over 15.0m.

    With a composite Grade %U3O8 x Thickness in meters (GT) value of 613 for the upper interval, PLS14-187 is the second strongest mineralized hole to date at PLS. It is surpassed only by hole PLS14-129 which included intervals such as 38.0m @ 13.66% U3O8 and 31.5m @ 11.19% U3O8 (see NR March 24, 2014). All nine holes returned wide intervals of mineralization.
