    Klopt, maar het zou wel makkelijk zijn dat je dit bied en laat proces 'live' zou kunnen volgen. Kan wel via Binck ws tegen extra kosten. Ik weet niet of er een gratis Amerikaanse 'dft' is wat dat betreft.
    Binck krijgt weer eens onaangekondigd een onderhoudsbeurt. Heb ze al paar keer verzocht dit heel eenvoudig middels een e-mail o.i.d. aan haar klanten aan te kondigen, maar helaas.

    Eens. Alleen die extra kosten heb ik er niet voor over.

    Gister einde middag zag ik dat ze het onderhoud aankondigden via de "belangrijke berichten".

    Je moet er gewoon vanuit gaan dat je in het weekend geen toegang hebt :)
    En beetje rust naast het volgen steeds is ook niet eens zo een slecht idee.

    Door de dure dollar prijzen Amerikaanse exporteurs zich uit de markt. De tarwe-export vanuit de VS ligt 25 procent achter op die van vorig seizoen. De druk op de tarweprijs wordt versterkt door de goedkope mais.

    De lage aardolieprijs maakt ethanol goedkoop. Analisten verwachten dat de VS daardoor minder mais nodig heeft. Maar droogte in het zuiden van de VS houdt de prijsval beperkt. Het ministerie van landbouw (USDA) verlaagt in diverse staten de rating voor de tarwestand.

    Roth Capital Reiterates Buy on Pacific Ethanol Inc on Back of Ethanol Demand Growth

    In a research report released Wednesday, Roth Capital analyst Craig Irwin reiterated a Buy rating on Pacific Ethanol Inc (NASDAQ:PEIX) with a $16 price target of $16.00, after the Federal Highway Administration released a key data point showing people are driving more on cheap gas, with 4.9% growth in miles driven for January 2015.

    The analyst expects rising gasoline demand to correspond directly to increased ethanol demand. The analyst continues to see ethanol demand growth with limited supply as supportive of rebounding crush margins and industry profitability. The demand tailwinds from cheaper gasoline are clearly there for ethanol, in his view.

    Irwin noted, "Our bullish thesis on ethanol relies on 2% demand growth in 2015, with exports remaining strong, consistent with 2014 levels. Practical U.S. ethanol production capacity is ~14.7bn gal/y versus 14.4bn gal in 2014 demand (including 13.5bn gal consumption and 847m gal net exports). The handful of plants not running leaves the industry already near full utilization. Ethanol is blended at 10% in almost all U.S. gasoline as an oxygenate. If we assume recent trends of increasing miles driven continues, this should support ~2% demand growth (~270m gal incremental 2015 demand), against very limited incremental 2015 capacity.

    According to TipRanks.com, which measures analysts' and bloggers' success rate based on how their calls perform, analyst Craig Irwin has a total average return of -6.1% and a 41.5% success rate. Irwin has a 5.5% average return when recommending PEIX, and is ranked #3349 out of 3547 analysts.

    1 april wat verkocht. Net wat in de etalage gezet. Het gaat met 'slechts' paar honderd winst per keer, maar tevreden.

    Vandaag kan een heel mooie dag worden.
    Als de olievoorraad voor de tweede week achter elkaar niet tot nauwelijks is toegenomen kan de prijs van de olie futures goed boven de $60 uitkomen en naar mijn idee ergens tussen de $62 en $65.

    De ethanol voorraad zou ook wel weer eens afgenomen kunnen zijn.

    Als dit zo is, zouden we PEIX vandaag wel eens boven de $13 uit kunnen komen.

    Wanneer het tegen valt (waar de markt gezien de olie prijs gisteravond op speculeert) zal PEIX vermoedelijk tijdelijke terug onder de $12 zakken.

    We wachten het af, om 16.30 uur gaan we het merken. De EIA cijfers kun je dan hier vinden ir.eia.gov/wpsr/overview.pdf

    Nu staan de cijfers van vorige week er nog, maar om 16.30 zijn het die van deze week. Let vooral op de kolom 'Percent Change' achter 'Crude Oil' en 'Fuel Ethanol'. Gemiddeld steeg de olievoorraad met 0,6% en Ethanol met 0,9%
    Alles beter dan dat is natuurlijk positief, maar het is pas echt goed als het richting een daling gaat. Iets wat voor Ethanol wel regelmatig het geval is, maar voor olie niet. Vorige week steeg olie echter slechts met 0,1% en dat was in 14 weken niet meer gebeurd.
