    ENZR
Energizer Resources Inc. is a mineral exploration and mine development company based in Toronto, Canada, that is developing its 100%-owned, flagship Molo Graphite Project in southern Madagascar. The Company released a robust Preliminary Economic Assessment Study of the Molo in February 2013 and has now initiated a Full Feasibility Study (FS). As part of the FS, Energizer recently completed a pilot plant operation, generating twelve tonnes of finished graphite concentrate for the purposes of evaluation by potential strategic partners. The FS is expected to be completed and released to the market by Q4 2014.

TORONTO, ONTARIO, Aug. 18, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Uptick Newswire discovers a world-class graphite project in Energizer Resources, Inc. (OTCQX:ENZR, TSX:EGZ), a mine development and mineral exploration company based in Toronto, Canada, that is rapidly developing its flagship Molo Flake Graphite Project in southern Madagascar to mine production.

There are currently over 200 daily applications that depend upon flake graphite. Incremental demand will be created by a number of green initiatives, including lithium ion batteries, fuel cells, solar energy, semi-conductors, and nuclear energy. Industry analysts say many of these applications have the potential to consume more graphite than all current uses combined. In fact, the average electric car uses approximately 100 pounds of flake graphite per vehicle.

Flake graphite is the most coveted form of graphite because it can be used in any application and commands the most premium price. China, who produces over 75% of the world's graphite, is in urgent supply of flake graphite for their own domestic markets and this has created supply concerns for the rest of the world. With limited exploration and potential development projects on the horizon, Energizer Resources and its Molo project are well positioned to supply both traditional and rapidly growing high-tech and clean-tech markets with the high quality and high purity, large-flake graphite that is in strong demand.

Energizer's total land package in southern Madagascar encompasses approximately 320 kilometres (198 miles) of continuous graphitic trends, where all graphite mineralization is immediately at surface.

In addition to the Molo Graphite Project, Energizer has also identified through drilling, trenching and geological mapping at least six other zones that could be potential stand-alone graphite deposits.

    Stormcrow:
    Our financial model suggests that
the company should be valued at
    US$0.
    40
    per
share, excluding any value that one might ascribe to any of the company’s projects
    other than Molo.
On this basis, we are initiating coverage with a positive
    recommendation
    and a $0.35
    target price.
However, perhaps more important than the pure financial analysis is that Molo
and the surrounding graphite discoveries can produce at a stable, low cost for
decades. This ability to secure supply at a known cost for an extended period of
    time is precisely
what makes any critical materials project attractive to strategic
investors. More than many others, Molo can provide these attributes to the right
partners. We believe that this is the reason Molo, and Energizer, will just keep
    going and going and going

8 Graphite Miners Exploring for the "New Black Gold" and the "Next Mining Boom"

    quote:
Syrah Resources (SYR) is the most diversified miner in the table with interests in Southeast Africa and Australia in uranium, copper, nickel, vanadium, coal, mineral sands, diamonds, as well as graphite. However, the company states its core project is the Balama Graphite and Vanadium Project in Mozambique. Vanadium is also used in Lithium-Ion batteries.

In Q2 of 2012 Syrah signed offtake agreements with a company in China and another in the UK for graphite and vanadium. The share price has been moving upward for some time but spiked upward substantially on rumors the company is a takeover target for one of the world’s largest vanadium producers, Glencore, a multi-national mining and resource conglomerate.

Syrah released the results of a Scoping Study on vanadium in the Balama Project on 30 July which management claims shows the vanadium resources in the Balama are close to four times larger than those in the Glencore owned Rhovan Project in South Africa. Right now Syrah appears to be more of a vanadium play than a graphite play.

AMG Mining secures graphite mining concession

    11/07/2012

Amsterdam, 7 November 2012 (Regulated Information) --- AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group N.V. ("AMG", EURONEXT AMSTERDAM: "AMG") announces that its subsidiary, AMG Mining AG has been granted a 15 year mining concession in Mozambique for natural graphite.

The concession area comprises an open pit graphite mine and processing plant in the Ancuabe region of the Cabo Delgado province. AMG intends to restart graphite mining activity in this concession, which was last active under a previous owner in the 1990s. AMG is currently performing an environmental impact assessment, detailed engineering and feasibility study. AMG estimates upon reaching full production, this concession can produce 6,000 metric tons of medium flake graphite concentrate annually.

The Ancuabe natural graphite mine is part of AMG's strategy to secure raw materials from its own natural resources and to reduce dependency on third party suppliers. The high purity flake natural graphite from the Ancuabe mine will be used in multiple high tech applications tailored to market needs.

    AMG MINING

AMG Mining produces essential materials such as high-purity natural graphite, tantalum, niobium, antimony and silicon metal. AMG Mining is a vertically integrated operation, which provides critical raw materials necessary to meet the needs of its global customers. AMG Mining is comprised of AMG Graphite (GK AG), AMG Antimony (Sudamin), AMG Mineracao (CIF) and AMG Silicon. This unit mines and processes critical minerals utilizing secure raw material sources in Africa, Asia, Europe, and South America.

AMG Mining’s specialty materials are of significant importance to the global economy and are available in limited supply. Markets for these materials include energy efficiency, infrastructure and electronics. The European Union identified fourteen critical raw materials to the European economy, focusing on two key aspects - economic importance and supply risk. Of the 14 critical raw materials that the European Union identified, AMG mines and processes 4 of these elements – graphite, tantalum, niobium and antimony. As the demand on these markets to become more environmentally friendly increases, the demand for critical raw materials also increases.

    Grafiet of flakes?
    Welke grootte
    Welke zuiverheid
    Welke hoeveelheid
En tegen welke marktprijs er geleverd zal worden?
