Waar vind ik die ISIN code?

Google de naam van het instrument, aandeel etc. met de toevoeging 'ISIN'.

Als zoeken op ISIN code geen resultaten oplevert hebben wij het instrument of aandeel niet in onze koersendatabase.

    In plaats van een 0,15% van Binnenlands Nationaal Produkt, nu dit:

    UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - The cost of the clean-up from Hurricane Katrina may reduce the amount of U.S. overseas aid and countries have been told to lower their expectations, a senior U.S. official said on Thursday.

    Andrew Natsios, head of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), said he did not expect a major "hold" on U.S. funds but had been speaking to diplomats while in New York for the U.N. General Assembly about the possible impact.

    "I am telling diplomats to reduce their expectations after Katrina but we are telling them we will do what we can," Natsios, who runs the foreign assistance arm of the State Department, told a small group of reporters.

    Another senior U.S. official, who is familiar with decision-making on aid issues, said countries would have to make an "excellent case" for additional help.

    The official, who asked not to be named in accordance with State Department rules, said he anticipated there might be problems convincing Congress to give more foreign aid when the need was so great at home.

    Congress has already approved $62.3 billion in aid for the U.S. Gulf Coast region, where Katrina has left a trail of death and destruction. One key lawmaker said Bush could ask for another $50 billion within a month.

    More than 100 governments have sent assistance to the United States, the world's richest country, after Katrina, including nations more used to being U.S. aid recipients. A cut in U.S. aid budgets could be seen as a slap in the face to those who came to America's side.

    AID FOR "FRAGILE STATES"

    The United States has committed itself to doing more to help poor countries at this week's U.N. gathering but opposes raising its aid levels from 0.15 percent of gross domestic product to the U.N. goal of 0.7 percent.

    In 2004, the United States spent $19 billion on foreign assistance. The budget on foreign aid for 2006 is still being discussed in Congress.

    Natsios said there was a move by the administration toward helping "failed states" that could become feeding grounds for groups like Al Qaeda.

    "There is a relationship between the protection of the homeland and our program in the very direct sense," he said. "Failed states are not in the interests of the United States."

    USAID produced a white paper last year which suggested aid should be used not only for humanitarian reasons but also in "fragile states" threatened by terrorism and narcotics.

    Last year, USAID tried to create a special account worth hundreds of millions of dollars for these "fragile states" but this did not get through Congress which was skeptical that such an account could be abused.

    The State Department is looking at reorganizing how it disburses aid, tying it more closely to foreign policy goals.

    Zou het niet eens tijd worden dat die Arme Landen zelf hun schouders onder hun eigen ellende zouden zetten? Het Westen heeft bakken geld gestort in de ontwikkelingshulp aan de derde wereld; het private bedrijfsleven ook ! In Azie heeft het dacht ik redelijk gewerkt, maar Afrika en Zuid Amerika blijven een puinhoop, ja een bodemloze put!

    Denk niet dat er al te veel van de hulp terugvloeit naar de economien van de "donoren." Wat die jongens van de Overheden in de Arme Landen/Ontwikkelingslanden/Derde Wereld/Onderontwikkelde Landen kopen van onder andere Wereld Bank gelden wordt verdeeld in beperkte locale kring (local shopping is daar een mooi voorbeeld van, net zoals local competitive bidding!).

    Overigens waarom moet India nog steeds geholpen worden met nul komma nul procent leningen die over een periode van 40 jaar terugbetaald (?) dienen te worden? Die jongens aldaar weten alles nu toch zo goed (ja hun bedrijven gaan zelfs dik de international hulp markten op en worden via NLse trustfunds voor consultancies - oa bij de Wereld Bank - ook nog direct netjes betaald. Dikke concurrentie voor de Nederlandse ingenieurs bureaux; en o.a die sigarenboer op de hoek van de straat in NL gaat kapot aan de belastingdruk !

    MHM,

    mijn (ja mijn) oplossing is dat die corrupte bende van ontwikkelingshulp eens danig aangepakt dient te worden, te beginnen bij Moedertje Verenigde Naties en dan langzamerhand doorwereken naar Wereld Bank (Asian Development Bank, African Development Bank, Europeese Investerings Bank, etc), bilaterale ontwikkelingshulp ed (de enige internationale instelling die zich qualiteit nog een beetje red is de European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, gevestigd te London, UK).

    Ontwikkelingshulp is te veel geleuter, een activiteit voor naivelingen dus uitgevoerd door non-professionals op doorgaans geten -wollen-haren sokke-sandalen. Ontwikkelling, financien en economy zijn mijns insziens duidelijke begrippen die maar zeer sporadisch aan multiculturele aspecten aangepast dienen te worden.

    Waar het op neer komt is professionalisme (ideen, planning, uitvoering)en hard werken! Mijn mening staat overigens geheel los van de Bush/Bolton doctrine en berust op ERVARINGEN met alle bovengenoemde instellingen alsmede met de overheden van vele ontwikkelingslanden.

    Aan de Vox Populus heb ik schijt (populisme) mbt to het wel dan niet geven van ontwikkelingshulp.
