    COQUITLAM, BC, Dec. 1, 2017 /CNW/ - Castle Silver Resources Inc. (TSX.V: CSR, OTC: TAKRF, FRANKFURT: 4T9B) (the "Company" or "CSR") is pleased to announce that ongoing underground sampling has returned high-grade cobalt from additional areas on the first level of the Castle mine near Gowganda, Ontario.

    Highlights are as follows (see table below for complete results):

    3.1% cobalt in sample CSR-UG-T-2 (mini-bulk)
    1.04% cobalt in sample CSR-UG-T-3 (mini-bulk)
    2.3% cobalt in sample CSR-17-10 (composite from the two mini-bulk samples)
    More samples have been submitted for assaying.

    Areas prospective for cobalt mineralization were recently highlighted through XRF analysis of the extensive first level workings at Castle. Current sampling is designed to gain a better understanding of the grade intensity and distribution in order to prioritize underground drill targets.

    Highlights:

    An initial work program at its Beaver Property, a former silver producer in Cobalt, Ontario, has returned high-grade cobalt from three composite samples collected from select hand-cobbed material at surface;
    The three composite samples, with a total weight of 38.7 kg, averaged 4.68% cobalt, 46.9 g/t silver, 3.09% nickel and 0.08 g/t gold;
    To better reflect its focus on cobalt, Castle Silver Resources will be proposing a name change for the Company at its upcoming Annual General Meeting in February.

    Castle inclusief Beaver is een parel. Naast cobalt ook nickel en zilver. Goede nummers. Heb het vermoeden dat er op de achtergrond ook al overname interesse is. Een mijlpaal wordt dadelijk als GGM de lening rond krijgt. Heb je aandelen GGM dan krijg je de komende 2 jaar nog gratis aandelen en warrants CSR. Voor iedere ongeveer 20 aandelen GGM 1 aandeel en warrant (voor 10 cent uit te oefenen) CSR.

    Castle Silver Resources (CSR, TSX-V), the only company in the northern Ontario Cobalt Camp with critical underground access, announced this morning that it’s changing its name to “Canada Cobalt Works Inc.” (“Canada Cobalt), subject to a shareholder vote at its upcoming AGM February 15…CSR says the name change will more accurately reflect the company’s primary focus in Canada’s premier Cobalt district, adding that “well before the surge in Cobalt prices started in 2015, CSR laid the groundwork for success on the Cobalt side of its business by acquiring and advancing top properties in northern Ontario while researching technological opportunities related to the Cobalt sector.” CSR has expanded its underground Cobalt program at the past producing Castle mine near Gowganda…updates on that and the company’s proprietary Re-2OX process are expected “shortly“, according to this morning’s news…Re-2OX was originally developed in conjunction with the National Research Council and, together with underground access at Castle, opens a range of opportunities for CSR to help serve the growing Cobalt needs of the battery sector…given regional neighbor First Cobalt’s (FCC, TSX-V) market cap of >$250 million, the new “Canada Cobalt” currently valued nearly 90% less has impressive upside potential…CSR is unchanged at 48.5 cents as of 7:00 am Pacific…
