Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Carlsberg Uzbekistan, brewery plant in Uzbekistan, started production Baltika No. 3 Classic and Baltika No. 9 Strong in innovative PET bottles with 1 liter capacity, the press release of the company said.

In order to maintain the quality of its product in Uzbekistan and support the growing consumer demand for beer the company has made an important decision envisaging the launch of Super PAK packaging line.

The distinguishing feature of the Super PAK PET packaging is that it will safely protect Sarbast® Original and Sarbast® Extra beer against oxygenation and sunlight that can have a negative effect on the taste of the beverage. A special protective element amosorb absorbs oxygen and does not allow air to get into the bottle, thanks to which Carlsberg Uzbekistan’s product will keep all its taste qualities. For a more effective sun protection the design of the PET container has been changed. The new PET bottle will be dark and will have a crinkled surface – a so-called “orange peel” that refracts the sun beams in a special way. Carlsberg Uzbekistan uses all the new technologies for the packaging of the product into PET SuperPAK. The special “Scavenger” cap also protects the taste of the beer from oxygen for a long period of time preserving its superior quality.
