    BioLineRx to Present at 20th Annual Rodman & Renshaw Global Investment Conference in New York

    Tel Aviv, Israel, August 30, 2018 - BioLineRx Ltd. (NASDAQ/TASE:BLRX), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on oncology and immunology, today announced that its Chief Executive Officer, Philip Serlin, will present a company update at the 20th Annual Rodman & Renshaw Global Investment Conference, sponsored by H.C. Wainwright & Co., LLC. The conference is being held on September 4-6, 2018 at the St. Regis Hotel in New York City.

    The BioLineRx presentation is scheduled to start at 9:35 a.m. EDT on Wednesday, September 5, 2018. A live audio webcast of the presentation will be available online on the Investor Page of the Company's website. An archive of the event will also be available for those unable to listen live.

    BioLineRx Ltd. recently announced positive results from the lead-in period of the GENESIS trial, a double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase 3 trial comparing BL-8040 in combination with granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF), to G-CSF alone, for the mobilization of hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) used for autologous transplantation in multiple myeloma patients. "We are extremely encouraged by these results. Based on the robust data received from the first 11 patients, the DMC issued a positive recommendation to stop the lead-in part of the study and move immediately to the randomized placebo-controlled part of the study," stated Philip Serlin, Chief Executive Officer of BioLineRx. "This is the first Phase 3 trial for our lead BL-8040 program, and as such, it is an important milestone in BL-8040's comprehensive development plan. We look forward to the top-line results from the randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled part of the study, which are expected in 2020."

    Strategisch goed nieuws vandaag. BiolineRx neemt grotere stake in een van hun core r&d pipeline assets. Kunnen ze LT flink extra de vruchten van plukken. Betekent wel o.a. nu USD 10 mio in cash betalen. Komt/is een call vandaag met beleggers. Wel benieuwd of ze dus hiervoor aandelen (moeten) gaan uitgeven. Denk het wel. Zal niet de eerste keer zijn. Vooralsnog reageert de markt goed, maar zoals bekend is dit een bedrijf in relatieve early stage. Wel verwachten ze nog dit kwartaal topline resultaten in de collab met Merck. In de gaten houden dus.

    Tel Aviv, Israel, October 3, 2018 - BioLineRx Ltd. (NASDAQ/TASE:BLRX), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on oncology and immunology, today announced that it has entered into an agreement with Biokine Therapeutics to increase BioLineRx’s stake in its lead oncology platform, BL-8040, a CXCR4 antagonist currently in late stage clinical development in both solid tumor and hematological indications, including stem cell mobilization (SCM), acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and immunotherapy for multiple types of solid tumors. As a result of the transaction, BioLineRx will increase its economic stake in the program to 80% from the previous level of 60%. BioLineRx licensed the exclusive worldwide rights to BL-8040 from Biokine Therapeutics in 2012.

    "We are very pleased to execute this transaction with Biokine Therapeutics, which provides us with a significantly greater share of the economics in our lead program, BL-8040, as we continue to advance this promising candidate through late-stage clinical development,” stated Philip Serlin, Chief Executive Officer of BioLineRx. "In multiple clinical studies to date in a number of indications, BL-8040’s unique mechanism of action has demonstrated robust mobilization of target cells, a direct apoptotic effect, as well as the ability to induce infiltration of T cells into the core and periphery of solid tumors, while maintaining a favorable safety profile. Looking forward, we are approaching multiple important milestones over the next 6-9 months, most notably topline results from our ongoing Phase 2a pancreatic cancer study in combination with KEYTRUDA under our collaboration with Merck, which we expect later this quarter. As we work to bring novel cancer treatments to patients in need, we believe this transaction reflects our strong commitment to this program and better positions us to create significant long-term value for our shareholders.”

    Under the terms of the agreement, upon closing of the transaction, BioLineRx will pay Biokine Therapeutics an upfront payment of $10 million in cash plus $5 million in restricted BioLineRx shares. Biokine is also eligible to receive up to a total of $5 million in future milestone payments. The $10 million upfront payment is being financed in full via the receipt of $10 million in debt financing from Kreos Capital. See the Company’s Form 6-K filed this morning for additional details about the transaction. The transaction is expected to close within the next 10 days.

    Nog wat meer analyse re de deal van vandaag. 10mio cash via debt financing, terug te betalen in 36mnd. En, aardig om te weten, door 80% stake nu "With greater share, the company may have more favorable partnering opportunities as BL-8040 advances to later stages of development, the most advance of which is stem cell mobilization (phase 3 ongoing).”
    Kortom, strategisch zeer aantrekkelijk. Vandaag aandeel circa 18% hoger, hoogste punt in 1 jaar, bij een aandelenvolume van ca 8 keer gemiddeld dagvolume. Leuk, maar veel interessanter wat er voor r&d resultaten komende kwartalen getoond worden. Er is in ieder geval veel in beweging.

    BioLineRx announced an increased stake in lead oncology program 60%, reducing payments to Biokine Therapeutics (private) to 20%, from 40% of sub-license receipts. Terms: BiolineRx paid $15M; $10M in cash as part of a debt financing at a rate of 9.5% (12-months interest only, 36 month repayment period) and $5M in restricted BLRX shares. Biokine were also included. BioLine now has a greater share of their lead product BL-8040, which is a platform molecule for oncology and stem cell mobilization. With greater share, the company may have more favorable partnering opportunities as BL-8040 advances to later stages of development, the most advance of which is stem cell mobilization (phase 3 ongoing).”

    Op 19 oktober ESMO presentatie re BL-8040. Aardige opmerking, die ik in aanloop naar die presentatie tegenkwam, van iemand die wat presentaties daar alvast highlight:
    "Keynote-202, for instance, combines Biolinerx’s BL-8040 with Keytruda, and is among the industry’s most advanced pancreatic cancer studies." Momentum groeit, zij het nog wel een lange weg te gaan.

    Eerlijk is eerlijk, na m'n aankoop een half jaar geleden(instap op 1,07) begon ik het vertrouwen in de koers een beetje kwijt te raken, maar de aanhouder wint! Ik kijk erg uit naar de resultaten op de ESMO, weet iemand hoe het precies zit met de commerciële rechten van de combinatie BL-8040 met Keytruda? Ik kan het nergens echt duidelijk terugvinden.

    Ha Sheriff, jazeker, mooie rit. Zegt, zoals jij weet uit ervaring, niks over richting hierna. Altijd bumpy rides in biotech, maar aantal strategische zaken, die ik al geruime tijd geleden zag bij dit aandeel, beginnen nu wel uit te komen. Kleine maar duidelijke stapjes. Reuze benieuwd waar dit ons gaat brengen de komende tijd. Eerst ESMO maar eens afwachten en ander kwartaal nieuws.

    Hi H.D.L. inderdaad apart wat er met de koers gebeurt, na volgens mij nette onderzoeksresultaten. Wellicht had markt, wie dat dan ook is, nog veel spectaculairder resultaat verwacht. After market ging andeel al weer boven usd 1, maar gezien de recente spike up en nu weer down, zal het voorlopig nog spannend blijven. Ondanks alles, maakt men zeker goede stappen met BL-8040. Dat is de bottom line van afgelopen week.

    Hi, VdZ, deels onverklaarbaar deze harde rit naar beneden. Onderzoeksresultaten van hun belangrijke middel werd wat gemixt ontvangen. Te negatief volgens mij. Dat gecombineerd met wellicht te hoge verwachtingen en in dit soort wat kleinere biotechs veel daytraders, zorgt voor een sfeer van pump en dump. Onterecht mijnsinziens. BiolineRx heeft zowel voor dit middel als ook andere r&d veel meer ijzers in het vuur. Koers weer ruim onder USD 1, wat altijd voor wat extra spanning zorgt. Ik blijf dit aandeel fundamenteel bekijken. Wel blijf ik erbij zeggen, bij de kans op flink rendement hoort het, maar weer eens gebleken, onevenredig hogere risicoprofiel. Moet je tegen kunnen.
