    Als langjarige belegger in biotech, ooit Crucell en nu al weer jaren in Genmab, kwam ik op mijn biotech speurtocht BioLineRx (Ticker: BLRX) tegen. Zij maken stappen met diverse toepassingen van hun lead drug BL-8040. Strategisch maken zij indruk vanwege hun collabs met Novartis, Genentech en Merck. De laatste paar jaar, en zeker sinds eind 2016 begint de tractie steeds duidelijker naar voren te komen. Novartis heeft in een recente deal circa 10% belang in het bedrijf genomen. Huidige koers rond de USD 1,20. Ze zijn ook relatief goed gefund en een flink deel van R&D kosten liggen bij de big pharma partners.

    Zoals altijd -zeker in biotech- zijn er allerlei mitsen en maaren te bedenken en risico's, maar het lijkt mij de moeite waard, op basis van bovengenoemde punten deze potentiële parel te volgen.

    Mooi dat je dit forum hebt geopend. Aankomende dagen zijn ik mij in dit bedrijf inlezen. Heb net een pluk Genmab verkocht om in een ander bedrijf te investeren. Misschien is BioLineRx een mooi bedrijf.

    De koers heeft ooit rond de USD 5.0 gestaan zie ik, klopt dat?

    Ha Gen.co dank! Ik zal zeker extra nieuws melden. En Willemn, in biotech gaat de weg naar boven (en beneden) vaak via vele hobbels. Genmab is daar pracht voorbeeld van. Is ooit gekelderd naar bijna 0, velen hadden het bedrijf al opgegeven en nu heeft het een marketcap van 10mrd+. Hoewel ook ik de wijsheid niet in pacht heb, sterken de collabs en de recente investering van Novartis in dit bedrijf mij dat er mooi potentieel in zit. Nu maar kijken hoe dit verder gaat lopen. Ik ga het in ieder geval bijhouden, en hopelijk meer mensen. Houden wij elkaar scherp.

    Nabrander (in reactie op Gen.co): na het stoppen met een schizofrenie medicijn trial kelderde aantal jaren geleden de koers van ruim USD 4 naar ca USD 2. Nu zitten ze (meer) in kankermedicijnen. En, gezien de collabs met big pharma, zien in ieder geval deze big pharma brood in hun huidige pipeline. Geen garanties, maar geeft wel aan dat er potentie zit in bedrijf en dus aandeel. Zie ook:

    Volgens mij is 2017 een redelijk belangrijk jaar voor BioLineRX:

    De resultaten van BL-8040 fase 2 zullen gedeeltelijk in Q1 verschijnen.
    De topline resultaten van BL-8040 worden tegen het einde van 2017 verwacht.

    "In March 2015, BioLineRx reported successful top-line safety and efficacy results from a Phase 1 safety and efficacy trial for the use of BL-8040 as a novel treatment for stem cell mobilization at Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem. In March 2016, BioLineRx announced the initiation of a Phase 2 trial for BL-8040 for allogeneic stem-cell transplantation, conducted in collaboration with the Washington University School of Medicine, Division of Oncology and Hematology. Partial results from this study are expected in the first quarter of 2017, with topline results by the end of 2017."

    BioLineRx has bought Agalimmune to expand its immuno-oncology pipeline. The takeover adds the synthetic alpha-gal immunotherapy AGI-134 to BioLineRx’s pipeline as the drug nears the start of a first-in-human trial in solid tumors.

    Tel Aviv, Israel-based BioLineRx is paying $6 million (€5.6 million) upfront—split evenly between cash and stock—to buy Agalimmune.

    Cijfers 2016 kan ik niet veel over kwijt, wel een aantal "Expected upcoming significant milestones for 2017 and 2018":

    -Initiation of Phase 2/3 registrational study for BL-8040 in stem-cell mobilization for autologous transplantation expected in H2 2017;

    -Completion of Phase 2 study for BL-8040 in stem-cell mobilization for allogeneic transplantation, expected by year end;

    -Partial results from the immuno-oncology Phase 2a study for pancreatic cancer for BL-8040 in combination with Merck's KEYTRUDA® expected in H2 2017; top line results expected in H2 2018;

    -Initiation of Phase 1b immuno-oncology studies for BL-8040 in combination with Genentech's Atezolizumab in multiple solid tumor indications and AML expected in H2 2017; partial results expected in H2 2018; and

    -Initiation of Phase 1 immuno-oncology study for AGI-134 in multiple solid tumor indications expected in H1 2018.

    Uitkomsten van BL-8040 zijn erg belangrijk einde 2017!

    Waarom die koers alleen maar aan het dalen is..geen idee!
