Acciona Energia to sell assets to MIP in US and Mexico for $1 billion

Dec ?15 (Reuters) - ?Acciona Energia ?has reached an agreement with Mexico Infrastructure ?Partners (MIP) to sell wind ?and solar ?assets in the U.S. and Mexico for $1 billion, the Spanish power ?company said ?on Monday in a regulatory filing.

The agreement includes ?the sale of a ?49% stake in its 1.3GW photovoltaic ?portfolio in the United States and a full ?stake in two wind farms in Mexico ?with a total capacity of 321MW, Acciona Energia ?said, adding that the transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2026.
