    Ik wil zeggen, er zijn weinig zekerheden tegenwoordig, TT laat zich altijd verrassen. In de laatste versie Fiat Ducato zit TT (dus ik neem aan ook de Opel Movano,P Boxer en C Jumper). Er worden van dit oud type(2006) bestelwagen best grote aantallen verkocht (veel km = veel probes). Nieuw model is na 18 jaar te verwachten dus ik ben heel benieuwd of in de nieuwe versie TT nog aanwezig gaat zijn. Renault was in het verleden ook zo'n zekerheidje, waarom kan dit met Stellantis ook niet gebeuren. Ik kijk nergens mee van op.     Alfa Romeo has unveiled the new Tonale SUV, which is available in two levels of electrification – hybrid and plug-in Hybrid Q4. The new Alfa Romeo Tonale is an evolution of the concept car first unveiled at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show.

    In a world exclusive, Tonale debuts non-fungible token (NFT) technology. Alfa Romeo is the first automaker to link a car with an NFT digital certificate.

    Upon customer’s consent, the NFT will record vehicle data, generating a certificate that can be used as a guarantee of the car’s overall status, with a positive impact on its residual value.

    Another new feature of the model is the inclusion of the built-in Amazon Alexa voice assistant.

    All versions come with a new infotainment system consisting of two large displays – totalling 22.5-inch, a record in the segment – and an intuitive Human Machine Interface (HMI).

    With a customisable Android operating system and 4G connectivity with over-the-air (OTA) updates, the new infotainment system also offers content, functionality and services that are always up to date.

    In a press release, the Stellantis-owned brand says: ‘With the Tonale the brand has not simply adapted to the new standards, it has reinterpreted its DNA in the direction of energy, harmony with the environment, efficiency and intuitiveness when managing driving modes. This new technology means the Tonale can ensure an authentic hybrid experience’.

    The Tonale is equipped with new Alfa Romeo Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for Level 2 autonomous driving, for automatic handling of acceleration, braking and remaining within lane while maintaining maximum driving safety.

    In dit artikel wordt het wel UConnect5 genoemd, maar wat zei HG ook al weer over IndiGO tijdens laatste CC?

    Inside, the Tonale features a 10.3-inch center touchscreen running Stellantis’ Uconnect 5 infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. Wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and wireless phone charging will be standard, and Uconnect 5 includes Amazon’s Alexa virtual assistant. The Alfa Connect app will allow owners to start and stop the engine and lock and unlock the doors remotely, among other functions, and the Tonale will also be able to receive over-the-air updates.

    Ik heb zojuist informatie gekregen van de Duitse dealer dat ik mijn e-Niro waarschijnlijjk eind volgende week klaar staat! Spannend!

    Ik heb ook van hem bevesstigd gekregen dat er inderdaad een grote navigatie/multimedia update aan zit te komen en dat daarbij inderdaad de wissel naar Tomtom wordt gemaakt! Meer informatie had hij nog niet...

    Ik rijd nu sinds september 2020 Kia e-Niro en daar zit TT in. Tot volle tevredenheid. Search by voice werkt subliem.

    Ik zat dat annual report 2021 eens te scannen, dit waren de automotive deals

    Volkswagen Group chose TomTom to co-develop a nextgeneration navigation product with CARIAD that will

    We signed a new deal with Genesis, one of Hyundai-Kia Motor Group's premium brands, to provide maps including ADAS features and real-time traffic.

    Jeep launched its new Grand Cherokee and Compass models including our full stack of navigation technology including a full range of connected services. Stellantis launched the latest iteration of Europe's most
    popular van the Fiat Ducato equipped with TomTom navigation, ADAS features and connected services.

    Our TomTom ADAS map is powering the Mitsubishi Intelligent Pilot Assist in the new Outlander. Assist allows for safer driving and incorporates digital map data to anticipate the road ahead.

    Toyota launched its first commercially available Level 2 system called Teammate, incorporating TomTom HD Maps. The Teammate system fuses LiDAR and camera sensor information with our HD Map to localize the vehicle

    Het verbaast mij dat:
    - alleen Toyota wordt genoemd, niet de Lexus LS en NX modellen.
    - alleen Jeep wordt genoemd irt Stellantis, hoe zit het met de andere (EV)modellen?
    - alleen Genesis wordt genoemd, niet Hyundai/KIA
    - alleen QashQai wordt genoemd, niet de Juke en nieuwe modellen
    - Subaru niet wordt genoemd, terwijl daar ook een uitbreiding heeft plaatsgevonden
    - etc. etc.
    De Mitsubishi deal heb ik zeker gemist, daar zit TT ook in meer modellen dan alleen de Outlander.

    In 2022 verwacht ik een veelvoud van dergelijke deals...... ze houden bewust veel onder de pet zo lijkt het.
