    (CercleFinance.com) - Oddo BHF reinstates its 'outperform' rating on ASM International, having increased its corresponding target price from 310 euros to 320 euros, saying that it remains very confident about the Dutch semiconductor group's positioning.

    It says that after revision, the stock is trading at 20.2x expected 2021 EBITDA and 17.5x 2022 EBITDA, which is higher than direct peers, although not excessive given its superior profile.

    The broker targets sales of 2.6 billion euros and EPS of just over 15 euros in 2025 (CAGR 2020/2025 of 21%). At 30x earnings, this would bring the stock to 450 euros in 2025 (excluding ASMPT), it points out.

    Amerikaanse Senaat keurt enorme kapitaalinvestering in tech goed
    Bedrag van 250 miljard dollar vrijgemaakt.

    (ABM FN-Dow Jones) De Amerikaanse Senaat heeft dinsdag goedkeuring gegeven aan een overheidsinvestering van 250 miljard dollar, bedoeld voor technologisch onderzoek en ontwikkeling.

    68 leden van de Senaat keurden het voorstel goed, terwijl 32 tegen stemden. De plannen moeten nog wel goedgekeurd worden door het Huis van Afgevaardigden.

    De overheidsinvesteringen in wetenschappelijk onderzoek lopen al jaren terug, evenals de positie van de Amerikaanse halfgeleiderindustrie.

    Van het genoemde bedrag is ongeveer 52 miljard dollar bestemd voor investeringen in de productie van halfgeleiders in de VS.

    Hi, heeft iemand een idee wanneer de volgende share buyback programma zal beginnen?

    "ASMI announces today the authorization of a new repurchase program of up to €100 million of the Company's common shares within the 2021/2022 time frame. This buyback program will be executed by intermediaries and will end as soon as the aggregate purchase price of the common shares acquired by ASMI has reached €100 million."
