    Huidige koers is al een minachting naar de kleine aandeelhouders
    Als je aandeelhouderswaarde wenst, ook voor de kleine, had je tussendoor wel iets meer laten horen !
    HG (eigenlijk elke CEO behalve Onno Stolpe en Musk) bemoeit zich niet met de koers...ja dat is duidelijk, maar je kan je ook te weinig laten horen en aandeelhouders laten zwemmen..En manipulatie zo laten bestaan..
    Terwijl de inner circle met minimaal 50 % alles weet....

    Tomtom heeft de omzet automotive/licensing/telematics al in de boeken staan, daarom konden ze al een outlook afgeven daarvoor tot en met 2020. De omzet exclusief consumer is dan bijna even groot als de huidige omzet inclusief consumer. Als je geheel consumer wegdenkt kun je ook de daarmee samenhangende kosten wegdenken. Er zit dus sowieso al winstgroei in de pijplijn. Er is ook nog een grote Amerikaanse autofabrikant die nog niet ‘live’ is maar de productontwikkeling op schema ligt (laatste conference call is dat verteld). Die groei in de pijplijn is nog exclusief overige kansen die zich nu voordoen.

    Even vanuit de hypothese van een naderende recessie - die er voorlopig niet is, maar stel bijvoorbeeld dat die er in de toekomst komt als gevolg van een messy Brexit. Dan is de divisie Automotive natuurlijk conjunctuurgevoelig. Als er minder auto’s verkocht worden dan ook minder maps - maar daar is vooralsnog geen sprake van.

    Daarentegen is de divisie telematics ‘omgekeerd conjunctuurgevoelig’. (groeit in recessie) Daarom houdt tomtom die permanente omzet graag aan boord. Op het moment dat transportbedrijven hun kosten aan benzine en tijdsbesteding onder de loup nemen, dan kom je bij telematics uit. Aangezien je de spullen leaset van tomtom heb je als ondernemer al in maand 1 de besparingen te pakken. Op dit moment gaat de logistieke sector als een trein en is telematics ook interessant - niet alleen ihkv kostenbesparing maar ook vanwege traffic en snelle routering. In hoogconjunctuur is het nogal druk op de weg..

    Ik denk zowel GM en Ford (plus Chrysler, maar daar zit TT al deels, via Fiat)

    TechCrunch Disrupt, San Francisco, CA, September 5, 2018 TomTom (TOM2) today announced that its real-time and historical Traffic data, Speed Profiles, and map elements will be integrated into rideOS’ innovative routing platform for self-driving vehicles to improve predictive analytics.

    rideOS has developed a platform that synthesises, manages, and distributes critical safety data and routes for any and every type of transport. It’s a crucial service for a future where multiple modes of transport, from human-operated to fully autonomous, will be sharing the roads.

    Through this agreement, rideOS’ services will also become compatible with TomTom’s High Definition maps, and the two companies will explore additional opportunities together. The traffic component of rideOS’ data platform is provided by TomTom through OpenLR, an open source project that provides royalty-free dynamic location referencing to enable reliable data exchange.

    Anders Truelsen, Managing Director of TomTom Enterprise, said: “The future of self-driving technology is dependent on mapping and navigation technologies. High-Definition maps, real-time and historical traffic data, live data from vehicle sensors, and more, must be filtered through a coordinating layer such as rideOS if we are to get past the hurdle of self-driving and human-operated vehicles driving side-by-side.”
