Ik kan niet wachten Crockett! Laat maar komen. Vandaag ga ik een stukje zeilen dus zal weinig meekrijgen van het koersverloop, maar dat maakt ook niet uit gezien de groene toekomst.

Bam Construct set to deliver major mixed-use development
    21 July, 2015 | By Robyn Wilson

Bam Construct UK is set to build a major office development in Glasgow, worth over £100m, after the local authority granted the scheme planning permission.

The 300,000 sq ft Atlantic Square scheme in Glasgow’s Broomielaw area is being delivered by a joint venture of Bam Properties and Taylor Clark Properties.

The project includes the construction of three buildings, the first of which will be 10 storeys high and provide 180,000 sq ft of office and residential space.

The second and third buildings will include 95,000 sq ft and 15,000 sq ft of retail and residential space respectively.

The development is expected to have an end value of over £100m once complete, while the construction value is expected to be in the region of £65-70m.

Glasgow City Council granted planning permission for the project on 10 July 2015.

Bam Properties development director in Scotland Mark Broderick said: “There is no doubt that there is an appetite in the city for Grade A office development and despite significant investment recently, demand is still greater than supply so we’re confident Atlantic Square will be an attractive offering for potential occupiers.

“The development will extend and connect the IFSD area between Argyle Street, which will feature a gateway entrance arising from Building 3, to the river front on the Broomielaw and provide a new pedestrian link between York Street and James Watt Street.”
