Pr.Zondagavond. Z. te T.

maandag 28 februari 2011 - 19:22 Geplakt van Inveztor: Heden's persbericht. Xcite Energy Limited ("Xcite Energy" or the "Company") Reserves Assessment Process Update ABERDEENSHIRE, UK--(Marketwire - 02/28/11) - Xcite Energy Limited (TSX-V:XEL - News) (LSE:XEL - News) (AIM: XEL) -- Following the successful Bentley 9/3b-6 well test in December 2010, the Company's 100% subsidiary, Xcite Energy Resources Limited ("XER"), has been working on a Reserves report that will update the RPS Energy Competent Person's report dated February 2009. TRACS, part of the AGR Group, was appointed as the independent third party engineers to undertake the Reserves report on behalf of XER in the second half of 2010 and RPS Energy will continue to advise the Company to optimise the report. The success of the Bentley 9/3b-6 well test requires XER to re-assess all material aspects of the reservoir model as the starting point for the input to the Reserves report. The information and data available from the well is still in the process of being received and collated and the Company intends to use as much of this material as possible for input to the Reserves report. The Reserves report will be focused on the First Stage Production ("FSP") of the Bentley field, for which the work programme is underway and the Rowan jack-up rig has been contracted. The Reserves report will assess reserves in connection with the FSP only, while also providing a further update to the resources on a field-wide basis. The Company expects the completion of the Reserves report to be around the end of March 2011, but will take the time necessary to maximise the value of the report.
I am happy to post the following feedback from a conversation I had with Jon Dale yesterday late afternoon. He knows who I post as and he has my personal details (address etc) so I can be authenticated and brought to task if I relay false information. Also for the record I currently hold 60,000 shares and only plan to add over the next few months when the opportunities allow. I will keep it short and simple: ISSUE ONE - Appointment of TRACS for Reserves Report I asked why the apparent change regarding regarding the appointment of Tracs (part of APR Group) to complete the Reserves report as opposed to RPS Energy... The explanation was absolutely reasonable and logical. Firstly, as the RNS clearly states, Tracs were appointed as independent third party engineers in the second half of 2010. In other words, their involvement is nothing new and in no shape or form a panic reaction. Secondly, Jon pointed out that due to the amount of work RPS have already carried out for Xcite over a long period of time, it was felt that their independence could be compromised / called into question and that appointing Tracs would overcome this issue. That is not to say that RPS lack credibility, on the contrary, but what it does do is show that the Xcite BOD want the reserves report to be above reproach in terms of the perception of it from the City and other investors. This a good thing. ISSUE TWO - Is a Placement about to be announced in tandem with Report I asked if the slight delay in the report due to an imminent placement. Of course, Jon cannot answer this question and I have always found his conduct to be 100 per reputable and professional. However, I made the point that I assumed a fundraising was imminent. At this point Jon echoed Rupert Cole's recent comments (which are on the public record) that this assumption should not be necessarily made. Read into this what you will. ISSUE THREE - Xcite will never move to production - they will be takenover first... This has never been my assumption, as many of you will know, although I sit in the minority camp on this one with many very well informed posters convinced that Mr Kew has no intentions of managing lots of staff as potentially the North Seas second largest independent oil producer. Of course Jon cannot mention any talks even if there were any, but he was very convincing when he stated that it is they every intention to bit by bit prove up the Bentley field and extract oil from here....making the point that it is when the oil is extracted commercially that the true value will be unlocked. ISSUE FOUR Share price expectations..... My views in this area mirror Jon's. He made the point that it is not realistic to expect all of the possible contingency resources (385 million barrels perhaps by 2014 - my opinion here not Jon's) to be converted into reserves in one go in the approaching report. That is not to say that some will be allocated. However, as an investor the most sensible course is to view the progression of the share price on a long term trajectory with value being unlocked on an incremental basis as bit by bit the enormous potential of the Bentley field (and beyond..) is realised. Whilst Jon was in no way dismissive of private investors he did make the point that if a few pi's sell off because of a lack of understanding of the a process that has been clearly communicated and because of unrealistic expectations (ie 200 million booked into reserves by April!!!) there is not a lot that Xcite can do about it. Finally Jon shared all of our disappointment with current reaction to the share price, but he did not seem unduly fazed by it and why would he be! Conclusion - Be patient and you will be rewarded. If you can't afford to leave money in for 12-18 months you should not be investing in an oily that has not gone into production yet... Make of the above what you will and I'm sure some will weave conspiracy theories into it, but I will continue to hold and hope to fill my SIPP with these when I have converted my company pension. The daffodils may not be dancing yet (funnily enough none of mine have flowered yet this year), but I am confident they will be joyful, radiant and triumphant by spring next year. Patience will be rewarded. As for the Saudi question, I can't control events in the Middle East and yes there is a risk that a big prolonged spike in the oil price could tip the world into the recession which would result in a large drop in oil price. This would of course have a detrimental effect short term on Xcite. However, I put this to you all, if regimes are toppled do you really think they will turn the oil taps off and refuse investment and development from the major oilies? Surely, they will want to rebuild their infrastructure, lay the foundations for a civil society, share the oil wealth around the citizens. The motivation to boost the state coffers will be hugh. If it leads to a more inclusive less corrupt and more equitable society in the middle east I can wait a few years for my fortune! NM (Poster nickname: Fowlertheprowler) Grz Bara
Hey Bara. Enfin, ene Fowlertheprowler, what's in a name?, belde gisteren met John Dale PR man van XEL.
Over 5 jaar CAD 40. We're going to eat this elephant a bite at a time.. Mooi moment in te stappen/bijkopen lijkt me. Nou, mooie bijkoopgelegenheid. Op termijn: it's all good. Zeg nooit nooit. Z. te T.
Hhhhmmmmwwww.

Geachte heer Zandeman e.a.
I thought the interview confirmed 2 keys things - and here's a few speculative comments which is purely my opinion and not fact... 1. He confirmed that the full CPR had now been ditched. 2. He confirmed that the new report will be a 'reserve report' aimed at the FSP. 3. He specifically highlighted the importance on protecting the 'intellectual property' of the Bentley field. 4. He suggested a valuation marker of $10 to $15. Now is it me or does this video feel like it is aimed at Statoil or Maersk lol! I mentioned a while ago that I thought the CPR would need to be accompanied by a full ops plan and possible funding all wrapped up. Because if it wasn't - Statoil or another player would be onto us like a shot. Xcite know the implications of currently being valued at $4 but knowingly being worth $15! Their trouble is - they need to prove it before the market can mark them up and even then, it won't be higher enough until the FSP is in full swing - hence his comment on 18months. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to tell you that you don't give your predators the key document they need to complete their due diligence lol! So here we are in a sticky situation! Xcite want to shout from the roof tops what they have under their belts - but they can't as it could mean a cheap takeover battle. So they've had to do a u-turn. They've had to 'park' RPS and keep them internal (close to the heart) and start fresh with another CP charged with a different approach. An approach that goes some way to validating the model and future work plans for the FSP so they can get on with it and progress it - but, still hold back on the bigger picture numbers to keep Statoil and co at bay. In a nut shell - this video was given to try and keep investors minds focussed on the true worth of the business as they now realise that the delay or change of tact on the CPR is indeed responsible for the drop from £4 to £3. It's in danger of actually making Statoil's or another predator's approach a lot easier. The opposite to what they want. In my opinion - the BoD are very fearful that if investors grow impatient we could go sub £3 and if Statoil suddenly bang in an offer near 450p or 500p, then they might have a battle on their hands to keep them at bay. If a predator wants Xcite and knows it is worth 4 or 5 times today's value - then it wouldn't take much to slip a broker £1mln or £2mln in cash to short or play with the sp to help get it down would it? We are talking about a possible £2bln+ company here. What's a couple of mil to Statoil or an IOC? Some of the bashers out there are probably just the usual shorters - but just think for one moment - perhaps some of them really do have a deramping role to do - but on behalf of our future buyer. I've seen dirty tricks before and this is smallfry compared to what can go on. Remember Porsche and VW - now that was funny! So the message is clear - keep the faith or else you'll lose out big time. HUB Ah well, it's all good. Happy investing. Dit laatste opmerkingen mijnerzijds. Z. te T. 100% long XEL.
***************** From www.traderstreasure.com/page12/page12... Xcite clear the air. 06/03/11 00:35 The timely interview between Proactiveinvestors and Xcite’s Rupert Cole (CFO) has calmed some investors in this rumor prone share. The BOD of Xcite have pulled out another Ace and yet again proven themselves to be in total control of this company despite efforts to drive the SP down. This website is aimed at those who are relatively new to investing and in particular, those who lack the time to pick up on investment opportunities out there. As such we are quite protective of those we aim at. The constant bashing of XEL on the many BBs has been for a very good reason,... someone wants your shares. They will take them from you at some point, why not get them at a discount? If people are taking so much time to try and steal my shares, they must be worth something! Take some time to watch the interview and maybe have another look at the oil barrel interview posted here 10-2-11. We are still exceptional positive about XEL with the earliest exit point towards the end of the month just prior to the release of the reserves report (we see the SP being 20% higher than todays price). Hey Haas. En? Van belang voor Xcite of Fugro? Gr.
THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT FOR RELEASE, PUBLICATION OR DISTRIBUTION IN OR INTO THE UNITED STATES TSX-V, LSE-AIM: XEL 18 March 2011 Xcite Energy Limited ("Xcite Energy" or the "Company") £40 million Increase in Equity Line Xcite Energy announces that it has increased its Standby Equity Distribution Agreement ("SEDA") with YA Global Master SPV Ltd ("Yorkville") by £40 million to £100 million. This is subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval. In connection with this SEDA increase, the Company will pay Yorkville an aggregate fee of £400,000, of which £100,000 will be payable when any part of the first £20 million of this increased facility is accessed by the Company, £100,000 will be payable when any part of the second £20 million is accessed by the Company and £100,000 will be paid on 27 September 2011 in respect of each £20 million tranche that has been accessed at that time. Prior to this SEDA increase, £27.25 million was available for draw down. Funding under the SEDA will be used as future working capital for the Company and to progress towards the first stage production of the Bentley field. ENQUIRIES: Xcite Energy Limited Grz. Bara
Interessante samenvatting op interactive investor: I thought I'd share my homework again! “Further upside exists for EOR techniques utilized within the field, which we estimate could bring this recovery factor up to ~50% (345 mmbbls recoverable) based on the most-likely structure size alone. “If you include the eastern Bentley upside structure (Exhibit 8) this figure could be as high as 576 mmbbls of recoverable resource. The EOR techniques in question could include polymer injection, steam soak, hot water flood & fireflood. Re the "Single Asset" - if XEL management do become bored with Bentley they might chose to develop the four-way dip-closed Brunel Prospect, or either of the two Jurassic leads - Jurassic West and Jurassic South East.. (DYOR!!) Xcite is a work in progress, the realisation of a lifetime’s ambition for the BoD. The point that Rupert Cole, Xcite CFO, was making is that the Bentley asset is significantly undervalued. Broker recommendations indicate that even this $2 billion price-tag probably grossly under-sells Xcite. Wellington West Capital Markets - 16June2010 - “Our unrisked EMV/sh value for Bentley is ~$22.01 and we see potential for additional upside to this number”. Results - from the 9/3b-R well - RNS + Competent Persons Report (CPR) will ensure that the share price reaches a sufficient level (£3 - £4+) for the EPS to be funded without excessive share dilution. XEL declares the cost of the EPS to be $100 million with funding currently anticipated to be, 50:50, equity to borrowing. The $50million equity required, if based on a £4 (US$6.14) placing price, will ensure no more than 8.14 million shares need be issued. This taking the total shares in issue to a not excessive circa 153 million. Even against Rupert's very modest $2bn valuation that gives us $13.07/share. Xcite with the support of the Bentley Alliance will find easy backing for the $50m borrowing. Has any share placing for any UK oil company ever failed to be fully subscribed or oversubscribed since 2008? (despite the credit crunch!!) The current enhanced 9/3b-R well programme has reduced the EPS capital requirement. Re-entry and early production have now been “designed in” to allow Oil extraction to commence, on 9/3b-R well within weeks of EPS start-up in 2011. The EPS development breaks even after six months and is in profit at the end of the first year. EPS producing 15,000 barrels of oil a day, even at the heavily discounted price of $68, would give a gross income of £1.02million per day. Costs of production are fixed by the Bentley Alliance at $40 per barrel initially and $33 per barrel thereafter. This will leave gross profit after cost of sales of .42million per day increasing to .525million per day in the latter half of 2011. The current modest Headquarters costs and the finance costs of a very limited amount of debt will hardly impinge on something in excess of $172 million gross profit in 2012. The new UK - “Heavy Oil Tax Incentive” - a ‘field allowance’ of circa £160m pa., up to a total of £800m, for heavy oil fields, effectively adds another c.$100m of NPV over the life of the (Bentley) project. The FPS scheme will be self funded from the profits generated. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gewoon maar wachten dus (niet vergeten van het leven te genieten natuurlijk). Groet, de Neut

Hey Haas.
En? Van belang voor Xcite of Fugro?
Gr.
Gnavond Xciters. Heb 't koersgrafiekje nog eens bekeken. Eind Sept. jl: 1 CAD. Eind Dec. jl: 6 CAD. Pats, 6 bagger in 3 maanden. 11 Feb. jl: CAD 6,3. ATH. Afgelopen Vrijdag: CAD 5. 5 bagger in 6 maanden. Tikje minder, geen koersopdrijvend nieuws + algemene aandelen malaise vanwege Japan, etc. Ik blijf 't mooi vinden. Bovendien, zoals eerder gedacht/verwacht: Eind 2011: CAD 15. Medio 2012: CAD 20.Of was 't 25??? 2014/2015: CAD 40. It's all good.
Grtz Bara
