    Zwaar oversold en undervalued zo langzamerhand

    Zo zie ik het ook, maar waarom?

    Het is duidelijk dat er veel “believers” in het fonds zitten, en ze hebben al een fikse koerswinst achter de rug.
    In een korte tijd van vier vijf Dollar naar de elf-plus.
    Bij het lang wachten op de grote opdrachten is de koers gaan dalen, ontstond er verkoop-druk.
    De daling is versterkt door de instroom van shortende hedgefunds.

    Velen hebben in de daling bijgekocht, en de lange termijn beleggers hadden niet gedacht dat het zo diep zou zakken en kopen ook niet meer bij (hebben de zakken vol)

    Een ideale situatie voor shortende partijen en de speculatieve gecoördineerde daghandel van deze jongens.

    De vooruitzichten van Pyrogenesis zijn het afgelopen half jaar alleen maar beter geworden, maar het bedrijf neemt de tijd om de zaken juist te doen.
    Slow is smooth, smooth is fast…

    Dus nu in de fase slow,

    Zit in dezelfde situatie. Bijgekocht rond 7 CAD en heb meer dan genoeg dus huidige prijzen gaan helaas aan me voorbij.

    Gelukkig wel stevig winst gepakt met die stijle rit, rond de 9 en 11 CAD steeds een pak verkocht. Ben ik zeer blij mee achteraf gezien. Nu zit ik ongeveer terug op even veel aandelen.

    Pyrogenesis:
    Wat ik me al eerder afvroeg; wat kost een kilo hoogwaardig TiAl poeder voor 3D printing?
    De huidige prijs voor de groot-afnemer is nu waarschijnlijk rond de 450 USD zie;

    wat is medegedeeld door de CEO; de productie van het nieuwe systeem is 25 kg per uur, en we hebben de laagste productiekosten in de markt.
    1 kg Titaniumdraad kost Pyro rond de 45 Dollar de kg.

    Stel het nieuwe systeem produceert gemiddeld 10 uur per etmaal, de productiekosten zijn 90 Dollar/kg, de verkoopprijs is 400 Dollar/kg, dan is per dag:

    25 x 10 x 400 Dollar = 100k Dollar per etmaal aan omzet
    25 x 10 x 90 Dollar = 22500 aan kosten

    Ofwel per dag 77500 Dollar bruto winst per systeem.

    Stel dit systeem is per jaar 200 dagen vol productief, dat is dus ongeveer 15,5 miljoen USD bruto winst

    Nog niet veel beweging in de torches sales:

    With respect to the Company’s plasma torch offerings, we expect this offering to be significantly impacted by continued developments in the iron ore pelletization industry, where serious consideration is being given to replacing the fossil fuel burners, currently being used throughout the industry, with PyroGenesis’ proprietary plasma torches, in an effort to reduce their carbon footprint. To date, everything is proceeding as expected. Initial discussions have evolved into confirmation stages which typically consist of a computer simulation followed by a small torch order. These confirmation stages are expected, if successful, to result with a roll-out program to replace fossil fuel burners with PyroGenesis’ plasma torches in the iron ore pelletization industry, in which PyroGenesis is patent protected.

    Verder tunneling: dat lijkt voorlopig nog weinig op te leveren:
    Separately, the Company also offers plasma torches to niche markets where there is a high probability of on-going sales from successful implementation. One such example is the previously announced contract with a very small company to produce a plasma torch ideal for tunneling. PyroGenesis has reason to believe that the real plasma-based tunneling opportunity may lie outside of the scope of the current agreement. PyroGenesis is in discussion with the client to determine the best way to terminate this arrangement. PyroGenesis is evaluating, and intends to pursue, plasma based tunneling opportunities, specifically those identified to be outside of the scope of the current agreement.

    Once again HPQ helped them out.

    Next Q HPQ will HURT them since it has come down from $1.20 where the 1st Q closed.

    Once again, PYR will trade according to what PYR can earn for itself.

    Right now, it is losing money.

    Dit een poster die ik altijd wel volg, zeker geen bumper. Geeft wel te denken wat hij schrijft.

    Rio Tinto has successfully developed and tested a new water atomized steel powder designed for 3D printing applications at its Rio Tinto Fer et Titane metallurgical complex in Sorel-Tracy in Quebec. The water atomized steel powder delivers mechanical properties superior to conventional metal manufacturing techniques, paving the way for advances in the use of 3D printing technology for metal parts. RTFT is developing a range of additional powder grades with advanced properties for 3D printing to meet customer needs.

    Rio Tinto Iron and Titanium Managing Director Ste´phane Leblanc commented: “This is a new generation of steel powders designed for 3D printing at RTFT’s metallurgical complex, where we have over 50 years of experience in making steel and iron powders. Our new additive manufacturing steel powder grade, produced with the largest water atomizer in North America, brings a very competitive raw material addition to the growing 3D market.”

    Rio Tinto develops new water atomized steel powder for 3D printing

    Rio Tinto’s Critical Minerals and Technology Centre in Sorel-Tracy partnered with Germany-based KSB SE & Co. KGaA, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of pumps and valves and a pioneer in industrial additive manufacturing, to develop and test the performance of the new powder in 3-D printing applications. Full-scale industrial parts have already been produced and tested, including parts for a liquid iron casting equipment at Rio Tinto’s Sorel-Tracy site which is an industry first.

    RTFT operates an open cast ilmenite mine at Lac Tio near Havre-Saint-Pierre, on Quebec’s North Shore. The ore is used to produce high-quality titanium dioxide feedstock, pig iron, steel and metal at RTFT’s metallurgical complex in Sorel-Tracy, Quebec. Together, the sites employ over 1,600 people. RTFT has operated in Quebec for 70 years and pioneered the process of removing iron from ilmenite. In the last decade, RTFT has focused on developing, marketing and fine-tuning the UGS process, which produces slag with a very high titanium dioxide content sold to pigment producers.

    Founded in 1967, RTFT’s Critical Minerals and Technology Centre conducts research on process improvement and develops new products. The Centre features state-of-the-art equipment and highly specialized instruments, such as inductively coupled plasma spectrometers, X-ray diffractometers, atomic absorption units, image analyzers, scanning electron microscopes and powder metallurgy testing laboratory.
