Vrijdag mijn positie verdubbeld.

    ICYMI, our

shared his thoughts on a future of 'big small tech', the potential of #5G and why connectivity really, really matters: nokia.ly/3kTi4uW
    www.nokia.com/blog/big-small-tech/?di...

But there is a huge appetite for change and improvement across business, enterprise and industry. We predict that every dollar of investment in network and cloud infrastructure will provide more than four dollars of end-user value creation.

The result is we are looking at an economic gain of up to seven percent of global GDP, or $8 trillion, by 2030. Elsewhere, if the gain is that high in economic terms, imagine what it means for productivity, equality or sustainability.

This technology is a game-changer. It allows us to look to the future with optimism, in the knowledge that connectivity will make people safer, communities more prosperous and businesses more innovative.

A future of big small tech awaits us. I am proud that Nokia is making it a reality.

T-Mobile US raises growth targets on higher merger synergies, 5G expansion plans.

T-Mobile US has raised its mid-term growth guidance

To achieve the growth, the operator outlined several areas where it plans expansion. Notably it's 5G fixed-wireless service launched for businesses this month will expand in the next month to consumers. Its initial home broadband pilot had over 100,000 customers, exceeding expectations, and the aim is to sign up 7-8 million within five years.

Again this bodes very well for Nokia who is the sole supplier of the 5g fixed wireless access routers required to connect to the tmobile 5g network. That network which is also partially supplied by Nokia will also be expanding over the next 5 years.

It has been generally believed the 500 million early payment last quarter made to Nokia was from Tmobile. An analyst on the last Q&A session of the conference call asked Mr. Lundmark who the payment was from but he didn't disclose. The service is running about 3 weeks behind for delivery of the 5g router most likely due to the global chip shortage which is a very good indication of the unprecedented demand for this product.

    Nokia Corporation
Nokia just announced that it entered into multiyear patent licensing agreement with Huawei, China’s biggest telecommunication infrastructure and smartphone company. The license is most likely related to phones, but not a lot of details were given in the official press release. Huawei is the 2nd Chinese smartphone manufacturer that accepted Nokia’s license package, after Xiaomi. It’s worth to note that Nokia and Huawei had a patent agreement in the past (2008?), so Nokia has a precedent for making deals with Huawei.
