    Siemens Gamesa weer een mooie order erbij in Zweden. Koers sinds q2 cijfers van dit jaar al weer ruim 30% omhoog. Gamesa doet mooi mee met de overige renewables en laat een mooie koersstijging zien. Ik ben benieuwd hoe snel Gamesa met het nieuwe bestuur kan schakelen binnen het bedrijf om de marges omhoog te brengen. q3 2020 zal nog geen schoonheidsprijs verdienen qua marges, waarschijnlijk nog steeds tussen de -1 en -3%, maar hopelijk zal vanaf 2021 de activiteiten winstgevend worden. Dan kan het aandeel nog een mooie sprong maken de komende jaren.

The new service, known as Asset Performance Management for Oil & Gas or APM4O&G, incorporates key complementary offerings from both companies to help operators enhance asset performance, eliminate downtime, and reduce maintenance costs. The APM4O&G solution combines Bentley’s advanced asset performance software capabilities, AssetWise, with Siemens Energy’s technology and service expertise to empower operators to improve maintenance operations and planning.

    The solution, part of Siemens Energy’s Omnivise digital solutions portfolio, supports maintenance activities across several assets, including onshore compressor stations and gas processing plants, as well as offshore production platforms and floating production, storage, and offloading vessels.

    The APM4O&G solution adopts smart, condition-based strategies based on predictive analytics to optimize maintenance schedules in compressor stations and gas processing plants, helping extend asset life and keeping maintenance costs down. Offshore, the solution helps operators reduce logistics costs associated with unplanned maintenance activities. Operators can also make the best use of limited laydown and storage areas offshore by holding just the right spare stock based on risk-based maintenance strategies.

    In addition to monitoring assets, the APM4O&G Solution can run powerful diagnostics and risk analysis scenarios that further optimize plant uptime, including failure mode effect analysis, an operational health index of equipment, and a remaining useful life estimate for an individual component or a whole system.

    Siemens Gamesa levert in Denemarken windmolens met daaraan gekoppeld de productie van waterstof. Voor dat laatste zou ik verwachten dat zij de apparatuur (electrolysers) van Siemens Energy gebruiken, maar dat zie ik niet vermeld.

    Wat een momentum heeft Siemens Gamesa afgelopen maand zeg, ongelooflijke RSI van 84,5 op dit moment. Al dagen zit ik hier met ongeloof naar te kijken hoeveel koopkracht er heerst. Elk nieuws is een katalysator om de prijzen nog hoger te zetten. Correctie is onvermijdelijk, maar wanneer? En komt er dan een nieuw koopmoment? Ben benieuwd. Voor nu een heerlijk aandeel om in de portefeuille te hebben.

    Dit is natuurlijk fantastisch. Je vraagt je af waarom nooit eerder iemand op dit (ogenschijnlijk) simpele idee is gekomen. In de praktijk werkt het natuurlijk prima: zet een rij van die dingen neer langs de zeevaartroute die naar Rotterdam leidt. Schepen kunnen daar waterstof bunkeren, daarna de haven invaren, containers lossen, nieuwe laden en weer door..

    Siemens Gamesa Bags Order from Assela Wind Farm in Ethiopia

    Siemens Gamesa has signed its first wind power project in Ethiopia with state-owned electricity company Ethiopian Electric Power. The 100MW Assela wind farm will be located between the towns of Adama and Assela, approximately 150 km south of the capital Addis Ababa and will contributetoclean and affordable powerfor the country’s electricity grid. The wind farm will be made up of 29 SG3.4-132 wind turbines and is expected to be commissioned by the start of 2023.The project will generate about 300,000 MWh per year. Siemens Gamesa will provide full engineering, procurement, and turnkey construction.

    The Assela wind project will be financed by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs via Danida Business Finance adding to a loan agreementsigned between the Ethiopian Ministry of Finance and Economic Cooperation and Danske Bank A/S.

    Siemens Gamesa Bags Order from Hanbaram Wind Power in Vietnam

    Siemens Gamesa and its EPC partner SEPEC-China Energy have secured a 100 MW onshore order with Vietnamese independent power producer Hanbaram Wind Power JSC, a second order following a recent maiden 117 MW order as the local developer expands its renewables portfolio to meet booming national demand. Located in Gia Lai province, the Hung Hai wind farm will feature 25 units of its Siemens Gamesa 4.X platform in the 145 meters rotor diameter variant, which are among the most powerful turbines in the Vietnamese market. The project is expected to be commissioned in the third quarter of 2021.

    With a total of 217 MW, the two onshore projects will generate electricity to power the demands of approximately 460,000 locals, helping to ease Vietnam’s power shortages.

    Siemens Energy to Drive Green Hydrogen in Middle East

    Siemens Energy and Abu Dhabi state-owned global investment firm Mubadala Investment Company signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 17 January with the intention of creating a strategic partnership to drive investment and development of advanced technology, manufacture of equipment, and green hydrogen and synthetic fuel production. The initial focus of activity will be in Abu Dhabi and over time it is planned that this will be extended to other international markets. Within the partnership the companies will work closely towards the following goals:

    Utilizing renewable energy to produce green hydrogen and derivatives, including synthetic fuels, providing clean and transportable energy to fuel new hydrogen-based ecosystems that are supplied from the UAE

    Establish Abu Dhabi as a world class player in green hydrogen and synthetic fuels.

    Jointly advance technology and drive down the costs of green hydrogen and synthetic fuels production

    Enable Siemens Energy and Mubadala to access emerging hydrogen markets and create value for both parties

    The first initiative under this agreement and the broader Abu Dhabi Hydrogen Alliance will be the consideration of a demonstrator plant located at Masdar City, to be developed under a specific agreement between Siemens Energy and Masdar, together partners.

    Together with Masdar, one of the world’s leading renewable energy companies, Siemens Energy announced that it is joining forces with the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy, Etihad Airways, German Lufthansa, Marubeni Corporation and Khalifa University on an ambitious project that will help pave the way for the development of the UAE’s green hydrogen economy.

    The organizations signed an MoU with the intent to establish a photovoltaic powered electrolyzer facility, to demonstrate state-of-the-art green hydrogen production technology and present sustainable fuel use cases.

    The first phase of the demonstration program will focus on the production of green hydrogen for passenger cars and buses in the Masdar City area. In parallel, a kerosene synthesis plant will be built to convert the majority of the green hydrogen into sustainable aviation fuel. In the second phase of the program, the production of decarbonized fuels for the maritime sector will be explored. Through the program, the organizations involved can help to significantly reduce the UAE’s carbon footprint, create domestic demand for sustainable fuels, and establish a local knowledge and industry base for their production.

    Zoek je de fabrikant van windmolen, dat is SGRE met de Spaanse notering ES0143416115. Met Siemens Energy (DE000ENER6Y0) beleg je in een breder bedrijf en zij bezitten 67% van de aandelen van SGRE. In december hebben kennelijk een Chinese partij en Mitsubishi interesse getoond in SGRE, maar toen heeft Siemens Energy laten weten dat zij hun belang in SGRE willen aanhouden: renewablesnow.com/news/siemens-energy...

    Siemens Energy snijdt flink in personeelsbestand

    (ABM FN-Dow Jones) Siemens Energy is van plan om wereldwijd 7.800 banen in het Gas en Power-segment te schrappen tegen 2025. Dit maakte het Duitse bedrijf dinsdagochtend bekend.

    Deze ingreep is onderdeel van plannen om het concurrentievermogen op lange termijn te verhogen. Naast de banenreductie, wil Siemens Energy ook andere kosten terugbrengen.

    De kosten die gepaard gaan met de personeelsreductie zullen vermoedelijk 500 miljoen tot 1 miljard euro bedragen, hetgeen in lijn was met de eerder afgegeven verwachtingen.

    De outlook voor het boekjaar 2021 blijft dan ook onveranderd.
