    Waarom horen we niet dat dat Jaap Goudsmit is aangesteld als crisismanager. De man met waarschijnlijk de meeste ervaring op virus gebied.

    Waarom de instituten die keer na keer hebben laten blijken niet tot resultaten te kunnen komen deze belangrijke taak laten verrichten.

    Door al die instituten moet tzt de bezem.

    In 1978 Jaap Goudsmit received his MD degree with honors from the University of Amsterdam. He was awarded a Fogarthy Fellowship of the National Institutes of Health in the US and started to study the transmissibility of Alzheimer’s Disease at the laboratory of D. Carleton Gajdusek, who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine and Physiology in 1976. In 1982 Jaap Goudsmit was awarded a PhD degree from the University of Amsterdam and in 1983 he was board certified as a Medical Microbiologist. In 1989 he joined the faculty of medicine of the University of Amsterdam as professor of virology.

    Jaap Goudsmit was head of the Retrovirology department at the Academic Medical Center of the University of Amsterdam from 1996-2002, during that period he was chairman of the AMC Research Institute of Infectious Diseases and chairman of the AMC Institute of Science Education.
    Jaap Goudsmit was one of the principal investigators of the Amsterdam Cohort Studies on HIV infection and AIDS among homosexual men and intravenous drug users.

    In ...2002 he joint the Dutch biotech Crucell ...headquartered in Leiden as Chief Medical Officer and head of Vaccine Research and Development. From 2002-2012 Jaap Goudsmit was professor of Poverty- Related Communicable Diseases at the Internal Medicine Department of the AMC in Amsterdam. In 2003 he was promoted to Chief Scientific Officer at Crucell and elected to the Management Board. In 2011 Crucell was acquired by ...Johnson & Johnson... and became the Center of Excellence for Vaccines... Jaap Goudsmit became a member of the Leadership Committee of Crucell from 2011-2012. Jaap Goudsmit was Chief Scientific Officer of Crucell from 2003-2012.

    In 2012 Janssen Pharmaceuticals of Johnson &Johnson split created two entities, one...,Crucell- Janssen Vaccines ...with the focus on vaccines against infectious diseases and the Crucell Vaccine Institute, the Janssen Center of Excellence for Immunoprophylaxis with the focus on the discovery and invention of vaccines against diseases that come with age. Jaap Goudsmit was appointed in 2012 as ...director and chief scientist... of the Crucell Vaccine Institute... The same year, 2012 , Jaap Goudsmit was appointed professor of ...Vaccinology and Immunoprophylaxis ...at the Internal Medicine Department of the Academic Medical Center at the University of Amsterdam.

    Jaap Goudsmit was the founding chair of the Scientific Advisory Committee of the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative ( IAVI) and has been member of the IAVI board. He was also the co- founder, jointly with Marc Girard of France, of the European AIDS Vaccine initiative, Eurovac.

    Jaap Goudsmit co-authored since 1981 more than 500 scientific publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals, including multiple times in the top science weekly published in the US, Science and the one published in the UK, Nature. Breakthrough papers include studies of HIV vaccines performed jointly with Harvard University in Cambridge, MA and studies of Influenza antibodies performed in collaboration with the Scripps Institute in La Jolla, CA. One Science paper published in 1990 with Jaap Goudsmit as senior author created a controversy in the Netherlands and concerned a study of the blocking of HIV replication by antisense DNA. Despite the fact that Jaap Goudsmit had to retract this paper, he was chosen by his peers in 1993 as one of the best European AIDS scientists and is still one of the most productive and most-cited virologists worldwide.

    Hij is helemaal ingevoerd in het wereldwijde vaccin kennisnet. Kent iedereen en heeft zijn sporen verdiend. Wij hoeven dit probleem niet zo provinciaal aan te paken. Wij zijn wereld spelers in deze, dankzij de wetenschappers die wij voortbrachten op dit gebied. Maak daar gebruik van.

    Durf het aan om te kiezen voor de beste.

MEPs who cannot travel will be able to vote remotely from home. "The measures the European Parliament has taken take due account of the seriousness of the situation", ECR co-chair Ryszard Legutko said.

    Only three urgent proposals of the European Commission will be debated and voted on: The Coronavirus Response Investment Initiative, financial assistance to Member States and countries negotiating their accession to the Union to cover public health emergencies and a law stopping “ghost flights” caused by the Coronavirus outbreak.

    The ECR Group supports decisive action to protect citizens and the economies of EU Member States.

    Afwachten hoeveel ons dat weer gaat kosten.

    Door al die mensen die zich in het weekend niet aan de aanbevolen, en bevolen maatregelen hebben gehouden, worden meer besmetten verwacht, als wannaar iedereen zich wel aan de opgegeven richtlijn zou hebben gehouden.

    Komen zijn nu eventueel met voorrang op de wachtlijsten voor een IC bed, als daar een tekort aan dreigt te ontstaan.

    Of gaat dat via...Eigen schuld, dikke bult, wachten achterin de rij?

    Broekers-Knol kon alleen maar mooi weer spelen door Faber (PVV) het woord te ontnemen, want die waagde het weer om mede-parlementariërs "nep" te noemen. Driewerf foei Faber!!!

    Ook kon zij heel leuk liedjes zingen, aangespoord door Jaïr.

    En dat was het wel zo'n beetje.

    NB. Coronamaatregelen inmiddels zo ongeveer als eerder aangegeven door PVV en Forum. Die hun kritiek en visie toen niet naar voren mochten brengen, want afbreuk doende aan benodigde eensgezindheid en valselijk misbruik makende van de ernst voor eigen politiek gewin. Hoe voorspelbaar. Interessant hoe men nu inmiddels denkt over de gesloten scholen, want eerder werd gesteld dat dat medisch niet verstandig was en dat men alleen was gezwicht voor maatschappelijke druk. Zou men thans onder deze quasi-lockdown de scholen nog wel steeds open gehouden hebben? Men doet maar wat. Maar uiteindelijk komt het goed, voor wie het nog mee mag maken: afzwakking de komende weken en normalisering daarna. Alleen, wil iedereen te snel, zoals ook met "gewone griep": natuur laat niet met zich sollen.

    Verschillende meningen. Volgens MSM doet onze regering het goed, over gedane zaken geen woord, en moeten we er als één man (persoon) achter gaan staan, anders ben je niet solidair.

    Jensen vindt het virus op macroschaal geen probleem, maar een complot van de heersende elite om het volk definitief mee te onderdrukken.

    Kees de Kort is nog alive and kicking, en vindt het virus ook maar een kleinschalig iets, dat alleen ziekelijke ouderen treft, zodat de genomen maatregelen nergens op slaan en er sprake is van een leiderschapscrisis; men zou alleen beschermingsmaatregelen ten behoeve van die specifieke groep moeten treffen. www.bnr.nl/player/audio/10149501/1040...

    Zelf heb ik het virus tot en met Carnaval onderschat in z'n besmettelijkheid. De hysterische reacties daarna heb ik al helemaal niet voorzien. Daarom ben ik gedraaid van "waait wel over" naar "bazooka-maatregelen, voor alle zekerheid". Voor een keer kan ik De Kort echter ook wel volgen, dus wat mij betreft de komende tijd de zaak nauwlettend volgen (nogal wiedes), maar, als de omstandigheden niet verslechteren, toch nog eens goed kijken of het leven niet langzaam maar zeker genormaliseerd zou kunnen worden, zelfs vóór 1 juni a.s., want dit ziet uit als een door de regering te lang opgerekte termijn (1 mei als ijkpunt had denk ik meer voor de hand gelegen). Natuurlijk oppassen dat hernieuwde laksheid ons niet de das om doet. Graag zoveel mogelijk Europese en multinationale coördinatie, wat meestal niet zo lukt, maar dan ten minste er naar streven in dit soort kwesties.
