    Ripple says ‘more than two dozen’ customers use its payments solution that leverages XRP
    ODL currently supports Mexico, the Philippines and Australian markets. Ripple said support for Brazil is “coming soon,” as well as additional corridors across Asia-Pacific (APAC), Europe, Middle-East and Africa (EMEA) and Latin America (LatAm) are in progress for 2020.

    Remittance firm TransferGo plans to move to Ripple solution that uses XRP
    U.K.-based remittance firm TransferGo is planning to move to Ripple’s payments solution On-Demand Liquidity (ODL) that leverages XRP, the world's third-largest cryptocurrency.

    TransferGo currently uses the RippleNet solution. The firm’s co-founder and CEO Daumantas Dvilinskas said by 2020 “even a few minutes will be too slow” and that’s why the plan of using ODL.

    XRP slaagde voor test door banken in 2016: “Het werkt prachtig”
    Ripple-volgers zullen hopen dat het een kwestie van wachten is op de rest: te beginnen met de twaalf banken die XRP al hebben getest in 2016.

    Voorlopig is het echter nog maar een klein groepje banken dat ODL gebruikt voor grootschalige transacties. Totdat XRP met gigantische hoeveelheden gebruikt wordt zal het geduld van investeerders waarschijnlijk op de proef worden gesteld. Niettemin blijkt wederom dat Ripple een duidelijke doelmarkt en use case op het oog heeft. In die zin is er misschien ook reden voor XRP-bezitters om 2020 hoopvol tegemoet te zien.

    Ripple’s XRP (XRP) vanaf volgende week beschikbaar via betalingsverwerker BitPay
    Het uiteindelijke doel is echter dat duizenden ondernemers in 200 verschillende landen binnenkort naast de al ondersteunde cryptocurrencies ook XRP kunnen gaan accepteren voor betalingen.

    Met de toevoeging van XRP zullen, zoals in de tweet te lezen valt, gift cards gekocht kunnen worden met de altcoin. Deze gift cards kunnen vervolgens worden gebruikt voor betalingen op onder andere Amazon, Burger King, Domino’s en GameStop. Daarmee is de toevoeging van de altcoin een belangrijke stap voor de adoptie van XRP.

    Don't be tricked out of your opportunity to participate in the success of Ripple's burgeoning global adoption as the flywheel starts to kick in and becomes a self-reinforcing unstoppable behemoth. I won't say we're out of the woods yet. There may be more pain and possibly a more protracted bear market ahead, but the value gravity of XRP will prove itself over time, because manipulators gotta sleep eventually, and gravity never sleeps.

    As Luiz Antonio Sacco (Ripple Managing Director, Brazil & South America) mentioned a few weeks ago in an interview with Reuters:

    “Ripple‘s blockchain platform plans to expand partnerships with banks in Brazil in the international people remittance market by 2020, as demand for instant and cheap solutions in this sector grows rapidly.”
