    Trump heeft maar een groot belang....
    En dat is alles doen om bij de volgende verkiezingen niet af te gaan cq te verliezen.

    Impeachment procedure werkt tegen hem.
    Daarom is een goede deal met China van groot belang. Dan kan hij daarmee ‘adverteren en schermen’ .
    Op allerlei manieren probeert hij China onder druk te zetten om maar snel te besluiten en snel een deal te accepteren.
    Hij is is continu bezig te dreigen en partijen als Huawei uit te sluiten.
    Ook gebeurtenissen als in Hongkong worden misbruikt.
    Zo moet je ook het verzoek zien om Apple het 5G netwerk aan te brengen.

    Trump heeft een doel ....
    Voor dat doel moet alles wijken. Zelfs zijn geloofwaardigheid.

    Nokia plans to provide 5G networks for German middle-sized firms following the opening of the application procedure for companies that intends use 5G frequencies on industrial campuses, Handelsblatt reports.
    Nokia intends not only offer its service for network planning, but wants also operate the networks. "We can do that. We are already doing it for the network operators, we could take over the operation on a company campus,” said the manager of he firm Martin Beltrop.
    In Germany, Nokia has already received inquiries for 5G networks from around ten companies, the manager said without providing names. The cost for local 5G networks depends on the companies, he added. Deutsche Telekom, Vodafone and Telefónica had oppose the idea of companies establishing their own 5G networks because the business with corporate customers is an important element of their strategies in order to balance the large expenses for the network expansion, the report said.
    According to Handelsblatt, Deutsche Telekom, Vodafone and Telefonica had put pressure on Huawei, Ericsson and Nokia to avoid them approaching companies with offers to build local 5G networks. Huawei and Ericsson offer so far business solutions in cooperation with the network operators.
    Nokia has chosen another path, but Beltrop also said that for the company the cooperation with network operators is the preferred option. Nokia, alone, would not be able to supply thousands of small and middle-sized firms with 5G networks, he said. Nokia also works with IT service providers to develop 5G solutions.

    Nokia announced today that it would discontinue the Chief Operating Officer (COO) role and distribute its various functions to other Nokia leaders. As a result, the current COO, Joerg Erlemeier, has decided to step down from the company’s Group Leadership Team and leave the company as of January 1, 2020.

    “Joerg has been a long-time, trusted colleague,” said Nokia President and Chief Executive Officer Rajeev Suri. “He leaves the company with my thanks and deep appreciation for his many important contributions.”

    “After 25 years at Nokia, I am ready to take on new challenges,” said Erlemeier. “While the company is in the midst of a transition, I leave firm in my belief that the right plan is in place to improve future performance. I wish the company and all my colleagues the very best.”

    VMware en Nokia breiden hun samenwerking uit, om de interoperabiliteit tussen het Telco Cloud-platform van VMware en de software-applicaties van Nokia te versterken. Daardoor wordt het eenvoudiger voor service providers om de gevirtualiseerde en gecontaineriseerde netwerkfuncties op de cloudinfrastructuur van VMware te draaien.

    Met de verder uitgebreide samenwerking leveren VMware en Nokia betere ondersteuning voor service providers die in een multicloud-omgeving werken, en hun netwerk- en IT-omgevingen aan private enterprise clouds, edge clouds en public clouds willen hangen.

    Concreet worden de virtual network functions (VNF’s) en de containerised network functions (CNF’s) van Nokia op het Telco Cloud-platform gedraaid, schrijft SDX Central. Daarmee worden applicatiemigratie, workload balancing en disaster recovery in datacentra en clouds ondersteund.

    De interoperabiliteitstesten moeten bovendien eerder werk van de twee bedrijven verbeteren. Eerder werden bijvoorbeeld al andere Nokia-applicaties op de Telco Cloud en het HCX application mobility platform van VMware gedraaid.

    vCloud NFV-platform
    Nokia heeft eerder ook al een on-site lab geïnstalleerd, speciaal voor de technische certificering van zijn VNF’s en software-applicaties op het vCloud NFV-platform van VMware. Dit lab moet een gestroomlijndere aanpak bieden voor het testen van de prestaties van VNF’s van providers en applicaties die in VMware-omgevingen draaien.

    Nokia heeft inmiddels ook al een aantal applicaties met certificeringen. Het gaat om Cloudband Application Manager, Smart Plan Suite, virtual IP multimedia subsystem (IMS), virtual packet core (VPC) en session border controller (SBC).

    Ondersteuning 5G-ambities
    De nu uitgebreide samenwerking zorgt ook voor betere 5G-ondersteuning, waar VMware steeds meer mee bezig is. De Telco Cloud en 5G representeren volgens het bedrijf “een goede kans om te participeren in een gigantische markt”.

    Eerder dit jaar werd ook al duidelijk dat VMware zich meer richt op deze markt, toen het een vijfjarige samenwerking met Ericsson sloot. Met die samenwerking moeten de twee bedrijven betere diensten voor netwerkvirtualisatie aan operators bieden. Daardoor moeten operators de uitrol van diensten sneller kunnen realiseren.

    De partnership omvat onder meer technische samenwerkingen en interoperabiliteitstesten tussen het portfolio rondom VNF’s, billing en charging, automation en orkestratie-oplossingen van Ericsson, en het vCloud NFV-platform.
