Waar het mij om gaat is dat Onno het qua koers van het aandeel enorm loopt te verprutsen en tactisch aan het blunderen is met zijn manier van communiceren.

Als je kijkt naar de gevorderde pipeline en wijze waarop Galapagos gefinancierd is dan zou ik nu al een waardering van minimaal E200 p/a op het fonds plakken. Galapagos hoeft geen emissie meer te doen om haar belangrijkste projecten te verwezenlijken. Dat is uniek. Het is m.i. ongelooflijk dat een biotech met zo’n cashreserve + deals met grote partners slechts een beurswaarde kent van een veelbelovend biotech bedrijf. Dat stadium is Galapagos allang voorbij. En dat er geen analist is met koersdoel >E200? Dat is omdat we nu E90 staan. Doelen schuiven mee omhoog als koers naar boven/beneden gaat.

Natuurlijk zijn er beleggers die op E6 zijn ingestapt. En wellicht dat die beleggers nu tevreden zijn maar dan vraag ik mij af of ze ook in andere biotech bedrijven beleggen. Galapagos nu op E90 vind ik een koopje. Galapagos op E6 was dat niet wat mij betreft; dat was veel meer een gok.

Mijn idee: Gilead wil Galapagos. Onno wil zelf door. En de consequentie daarvan is dat vandaag het Novartis nieuws gewoon uit de koers geramd wordt door “de markt” (AQR en dat soort partijen). Partner Morphosys houdt de winst beter vast. Als aandeelhouder moet je daarvan toch balen? Beurswaardering tov sectorgenoten gaat nergens meer over.
