Als zoeken op ISIN code geen resultaten oplevert hebben wij het instrument of aandeel niet in onze koersendatabase.

    we just got an official confirmation that we can add a new advisory board member in the upcoming week. Its someone from the big 4 :wink:... details will be announced next week.

    It looks as if Ripple is on the radar of a lot of forex brokers these days. X-Trade Brokers, also known as XTB, will soon add new trading markets to their platform. In doing so, they will add Bitcoin, Ether, XRP, Litecoin, and Dash trading against the US Dollar. That is quite a significant development for all of these currencies and assets. It will be quite interesting to see how this affects the market caps of all these new additions.

    Payments in the future will be sent like text messages, experts say
    The solution is moving payments to a blockchain-based, distributed ledger technology system, like the one fintech company Ripple licenses, which allows transactions to flow smoothly like a text message, Waters said. A customer can send a transaction using Ripple from the United States to Mexico and have the customer on the other end collect the money from his participating Mexican bank in pesos. The foreign exchange is built in to the transaction and the participating banks are part of the same system.

    Digitale munten, cryptovaluta, zijn dit voorjaar spectaculair in prijs gestegen. Dit heeft alle tekenen van een zeepbel en vergelijkingen met de tulpenmanie zijn niet van de lucht. Zes feiten en omstandigheden die erop duiden dat dit daadwerkelijk een zeepbel is.

    Totale waarde cryptovaluta zes keer over de kop

    Er gaat veel aandacht naar de bitcoin als de eerste en grootste digitale munt, maar daarnaast zijn er nog eens honderden van deze valuta. De totale marktwaarde van alle cryptovaluta samen is dit jaar circa zes keer over de kop gegaan en is de grens van 100 miljard dollar voorbijgeschoten. Vanaf half maart is het min of meer een rechte lijn omhoog.

    De echte prijsexplosie is relatief verstopt

    Juist bij de kleinere digitale valuta zit de echte prijsexplosie. De tweede digitale munt, ether (of ethereum), is sinds begin dit jaar ruim veertig keer over de kop gegaan. Ripple, de nummer drie, 54 keer. Dit doet denken aan de internetzeepbel waar op de Amerikaanse beurs ook legio kleine onbekende internetbedrijven met amper omzet miljardenwaarderingen kregen.

    Er is een onderliggende drijver van de prijsexplosie

    De prijsexplosie komt niet helemaal uit het niets. De directe aanleiding voor de stijging vanaf half maart lijkt te zijn dat Aziatische beleggers cryptovaluta op grote schaal hebben omarmd. Tegelijkertijd gaan de investeringen in concrete toepassingen van de technologie achter deze valuta door.

    Handel gericht op koerswinst

    Hét kenmerk van een zeepbel is dat beleggers ergens in investeren om de belegging snel weer tegen een hogere prijs van de hand te doen. Het internet staat vol met dit soort verhalen.

    Digitale goudkoorts
    Daarnaast lijkt er ook een soort goudkoorts te zijn uitgebroken onder mensen die digitale munten willen winnen. Op de Amerikaanse online marktplaats Craigslist worden grote bedragen gevraagd voor computers die dit kunnen. Dichter bij huis, op Marktplaats, is ook een groot aanbod van dit soort computers.

    De markt zet slecht nieuws snel van zich af

    De opkomst van bitcoin is gepaard gegaan met veel kleine en grote hackincidenten. Dat leidde eerder steeds tot aanzienlijke koersdalingen. Eerder deze week implodeerde de koers van ethereum kortstondig op een groot Amerikaans handelsplatform, een flashcrash zoals die afgelopen paar jaar een paar keer plaatsvond op andere financiele markten. Mensen met stop-loss orders zagen hun investering verdwijnen. Het heeft vooralsnog echter niet geleid tot een verlies aan vertrouwen en bijbehorende dalingen.

    Investing In Ripple: The Next Big Thing?
    This will mean 40% of banks in Japan will be in some way connected to Ripple technology. Then in 2018, RBS and BAML, amongst others will use Ripple to underlie the cross-border payment services for retail and commercial customers.

    Ripple has some way to go to match the exposure of Bitcoin with only five years under its belt compared to Bitcoin’s 8 years, but if it follows in the footsteps of Bitcoin, its value has the potential to surge further.

    dit is er meer een voor het algemene crypto draadje lijkt me. Of bedoel je dat Ripple relatief goed overeind blijft in deze correctie?
