    Mooi bericht dat Adyen steeds breder ingezet wordt door LVMH.

    Ik zie momenteel ( voor mij ) een behoorlijk volume van ruim 800 aan putopties op 1200. Lijkt mij dat er gespeculeerd wordt op een daling van de koers. Zijn er hier beleggers die naast hun technische dan wel fundamentele analyses ook naar dit soort gegevens kijken?

    Zeker, derivaten knullen kijken wat verder vooruit dan TA grafiek lezers. Zonder risico geen rendement - zonder kleur over visie op de sector is zo'n positie (en de rest van de derivaten posities die er omheen hangen) niet zo indicatief.

    Deze is wellicht interessant - waar je dit naar toe zou kunnen zien gaan is stablecoins in wallets van bedrijven die wel te vertrouwen zijn:

    Alphabet's Google and PayPal have formed a multiyear strategic partnership to combine their digital commerce capabilities and develop AI-based shopping experiences.

    PayPal said Wednesday that the team-up will harness PayPal's global payment infrastructure and Google's expertise on AI to deliver new experiences in what is being called agentic commerce, in which AI-powered agents perform tasks like discovering new products, comparing options and making purchases for consumers.

    The companies also intend to develop standards for agentic commerce and advocate for the adoption of best practices, including Google's Agent Payments Protocol, which it describes as an open-source protocol for AI agents to make transactions on behalf of users.

    Google will be integrating PayPal's branded checkout, Hyperwallet and PayPal Payouts into its products, and PayPal Enterprise Payments will become one of the key payment providers processing card payments across products including Google Cloud, Google Ads and Google Play.

    PayPal will also partner writh Google Cloud to overhaul its technology foundations, applications and infrastructure, the company said.

    "We are bringing PayPal's products and services to billions of Google users and redefining what's possible at global scale," PayPal Chief Executive Alex Chriss said.

    De optiehandel is voor mij geen leidraad, bestaat ook uit veel speculatie.

    Ik vermoed dat het aandeel doelbewust beetje bij beetje lager wordt gezet door 1 of meerdere partijen. Het slechte nieuws is al geweest en ik verwacht dat iedereen die het niet meer ziet zitten in dit aandeel al eerder (tegen een hogere koers) afscheid heeft genomen. Dus ik ben ook verbaasd dat er nog steeds veel aandelen tegen een steeds lagere prijs worden verkocht. Mijn vermoeden is dat er een grote partij aan het afbouwen is. Ook een positief bericht van Adyen heeft de koers niet doen stijgen.

    FRANKFURT, Oct 2 (Reuters) - The European Central Bank said on Thursday it had picked a Portuguese startup focussed on artificial intelligence to help prevent frauds in its planned digital euro currency.

    The contract with Feedzai, worth up to 237.3 million euros ($278.69 million), is one of several announced by the ECB on Thursday to advance a project that it sees as key for the euro zone's financial autonomy from the United States.

    Under it, Feedzai and its subcontractor PwC will provide an AI model for scoring digital euro payments by their fraud risk, based on any deviation from a customer's typical behaviour, interactions and history.

    This is aimed at helping payment service providers decide whether to approve a transaction in digital euros, essentially an exchange between electronic wallets backed by the central bank.

    The four-year agreement has an estimated value of 79.1 million euros and a cap at 237.3 million euros.

    Four further digital euro contracts worth between 27.6 million euros and 220.7 million euros were awarded to other companies, including to French IT consulting firm Capgemini .

    Under such framework agreements, the ECB won't pay "a penny until the project actually starts", board member Piero Cipollone said last month.

    The central bank is still awaiting legislative approval for its digital euro, which it has pitched as a response to Visa and Mastercard's dominance and to U.S. President Donald Trump's promotion of stablecoins pegged to the dollar.

    It hopes to receive the go-ahead around the middle of next year, with a view to launching the digital currency in 2029.

    Registered in Coimbra, Portugal, Feedzai says it processes $8 trillion worth of payments every year for clients including Portuguese bank Novobanco and Abu Dhabi's Wio Bank. ($1 = 0.8515 euros)

Das Wachstum im zweiten Halbjahr dürfte im unverändert schwierigen Umfeld etwa dem des ersten entsprechen, schrieb Mohammed Moawalla am Donnerstag in einem Ausblick auf den Quartalsbericht des Zahlungsabwicklers. Adyen habe aber ausreichend zurückhaltend kommuniziert, sodass positive Überraschungen wahrscheinlicher seien als Enttäuschungen./ag/edh
