Summary / Responsibilities - Inside Sales & Account Management Representative
POSITION SUMMARY :
The Inside Sales / Account Management Representative, often being the first contact a customer has with our company, is responsible for representing Sopheon in a professional, positive and friendly manner. The position reports to the Vice President of Sales and is responsible for increasing company revenue by proactively up selling to the Sopheon account base, contacting key people inside the account base to understand the health and well being of the customer, responding to incoming leads from a variety of sources and proactively contacting potential clients in the accounts designated as Target Accounts.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
After learning the basics of our business, the Inside Sales / Account Management Representative will sell Sopheon products and services to new and existing customers. Responsibilities will include:
Executing outbound telephone-based communication, as the Sopheon Client Account representative, to capture the customer’s experience with Sopheon, determine other innovation needs, and offer Sopheon solutions to help the customer improve their business.
Calling new customers to build relationships and generating future business from them using a consultative approach that offers all Sopheon products.
Calling as a representative of Sopheon Target Account customers to determine their innovation needs, discuss what we are providing to other divisions of these accounts or companies in a similar industry, present our solution to these potential customers with similar requirements.
Handling inbound leads through telephone, e-mail or telemarketing.
Communicating trends in the customer base to Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales Management and Customer Support.
Manage day to day activity by executing against agreed KPI’s
Capture sales activity through the use of SFDC,
Provide weekly activity report and Activity update with Regional Account Executives and VP of sales
Participate in monthly territory strategy with Regional Account Executives and VP of sales
